  1. I would have no problem with that if we had anything to put in it. I only know of a couple counting this one though.
  2. Your day is coming...........................
  3. Yea, a think the book says 1,000 RPM if I'm not mistaken and that is pretty much at idle. I actually run my idle a bit lower than that so I crank mine up just a bit when I'm synching the carbs.
  4. :moon: $45.00 :moon:
  5. OK...GAME ON!!!!! WHOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO Anybody got the cajones? Will I bid higher or will you be stuck with paying the price? Who has the guts to find out? HUH...HUH?????????????? This is me DARING YOU!!!
  6. I don't blame her. I don't want to see him in a speedo either.
  7. Yea...that's what I meant...the other left.... Sorry, it is on the right side. My wife is out of town so I had no body to ask which hand it was.
  8. Well....my bid is $25.00 for the VERY LAST TICKET.
  9. You can raise it though by just turning in on the idle screw. It's a black screw on the left side of the tank. You can turn it with your fingers.

This is pretty good. Watch till the end and you'll see it in slow motion. At the very least, he saved her some serious hurt and maybe even her life. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMujgAAyH-I]YouTube - ‪Evan Longoria's Crazy Bare Hand Catch‬‏[/ame]
  11. I don't think I had actually ever seen an actual TSB on the issue. Thanks for the information.
  12. HUH??? I TOLD you that I didn't list ALL the advanced features. Geezzzzzzzzzz.....have you never heard of invisible FORCE FIELDS??????? DUH!!!
  13. I actually have two of them to sell. One is based on the current cruiser styling of the RSV and the other an updated version of the first gen Venture. Both of these bikes have custom and slightly modernized body work. Both are fitted with mildly modified 1600CC VMax engines. Fuel injected, ABS Brakes, 600 watt stators, heated grips, power adjustable windshields, patented firmness control seat firmness, built in audio with 5 x 7 speakers front and rear and integrated satellite radio and MP3 players with 32GB of storage. Power center stands are also standard on both models. There are many other state of the art features that are all standard equipment but much to extensive to go into here. There is only one SMALL catch. These bikes are invisible. You will therefore not be able to see or actually use them but you WILL get a full description of the bike listing all features and specifications as well as the custom color of your choice. I figure if this guy can get away with selling invisible art, I should be able to sell a few invisible motorcycles. Please place your orders early...supplies are indeed limited...oh heck...no they aren't.....I've got THOUSANDS of them ready to sell. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2011/06/23/james-franco-creates-invisible-art/?test=faces
  14. Now as for the toilets. I don't remember us ever having an outhouse but I sure remember using one when I went to visit my grandparents. I even remember that they had a two holer at one time. I also never remember us not have a television but it was a black and white and a very snowy picture most of the time. The first people in the neighborhood who got a color TV were the Bufords about three houses up the road. It used to be very exciting to go to their house and watch a football game in color. WOW...the grass was VERY green. Now the Bufords had more money than many in our neighborhood. Mr. Buford owned an insurance agency in our small town. He had three children who was about our same age. Some of you footballs fans have probably heard of the youngest son. He was about 3 or 4 years younger than me but ended up playing pro football. He was a punter I think and played for the Chicago Bears. His name was Maury Buford. I do remember the first time we got an air conditioner and standing in front of it with a big grin. It sure felt good after coming in from the Texas heat. I was probably about 10 years old or so at the time. Before that, we had the old water coolers...or what some called swamp coolers. When the filters got dirty the entire house ended up smelling like dead fish. You know what.....those were good days. They really were. Much simpler times.
  15. No no no....they were not food stamps. They had nothing to do with food. They were given out by SOME grocery stores but also gas stations and other types of businesses. When the books got full, you did NOT trade them for groceries but for other merchandise. Everything from kitchen appliances to toys to sporting goods.....they had an entire catalog that you could shop from to spend the stamps that you had accumulated.
  16. Because food stamps are something entirely different. Food stamps are something that the government gives out to folks who are under the poverty level or something like that. S&H Greenstamps were give to you by merchants and when you got enough of them to fill the books, you traded them in for merchandise. Another type were Gold Bond stamps. Pretty much the same as the Green Stamps. They were pretty popular where I was raised in Texas but I don't know if it was a nationwide thing or not.
  17. Thanks...that answered my question as well as my next question, WHY do we have a fuel pump.
  18. Have you called RMStator to see if they have anything that would work? I would HATE my bike being down because of a postal strike. They are located in Canada, maybe some members could do a "relay" and get it to you. https://www.rmstator.com/en/index.htm
  19. I know that in an emergency that you can run without a pump. How does the bike run like that? Does it starve for fuel at highway speeds?
  20. Yes, I've heard the Nautilus and they are loud. Webbikeworld claims that they are nowhere close to their specified rating though and in fact, they don't recommend the Stebel at all due to some problems in their test results. I've not heard about any failures here though. I run Fiamm Blasters on my '99 and hey are plenty loud even though I have them installed inside the fairing.
  21. This one surprised me a bit. The Hella disk type horns were actually louder than the Stebel Magnums. http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-horns/horn-comparison-part-2/
  22. Yea, I can be a glutton for punishment. I went back and forth deciding between the Avon and the E3. I really like the way the RsV handles with the Avons and they may be the quietest tire I've ever run. I talked to a lot of riders at Maintenance Day and one thing that I heard over and over was that they liked the E3 but that they were a little noisy. I once had Michelin Commanders on my bike and I liked everything about them except the fact that they would sing in the long sweeping curves. If this set of Avons crack though, I will go with the E3 the next time.
  23. 21 that I actually remember...have heard of all of them.
  24. Yea...maybe next year we should double our labor rates.
  25. By the way, Rick's Motorsports DOES offer a high output stator for the RSV. Looks like a decent price too. http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/proddetail.php?prod=21-412H&pmc=OTlZYW1YVloxMzAwVEZSb3lhbFN0YXJWZW50dXJl You can also buy the same stator from Dennis Kirk for $151.99 http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=208599&store=&catId=&productId=p210807&leafCatId=&mmyId=8869
