  1. The 765 has an fm transmitter as well. But I use the headphone jack to my aux in and my own mic cable so I can make calls using my helmet mic. Works great!!
  2. Another vote for the 765 here, bought a 550 and other than the screen it wasn't all that great. It stuttered the music if making map changes. The 765 has been working awesome for a less than 200.00 investment including the ram mount, sunshade and power cord. Not waterproof but baggies are cheap! Good Luck Frank
  3. We rode to Topeka today with friends for the yearly dyno day. Great weather for it. Looking forward to the change of pace to our usual roads we ride. Hope the weather holds out. Frank

That's what I did. Cheap and works great...no tools needed. Frank
  5. Yep...it's a new Vmax. I will see it just to drool over the bike. Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes cheese with my movies. Frank
  6. I'm the new guy around here but Ponch has already been a big help for me. I'm not normally one for prayer but I too am praying for a speedy and full recovery. Frank
  7. Just want to confirm before I start investing money in this project. I want to get Vmax gearing in my RSV and the Vmax final drives are too damned costly. Found a few FJR setups that are far more reasonable. Nice thing is they also don't have the shock stud to worry about. Can anyone confirm the FJR final drive will work? Thanks for any and all info!! Frank
  8. If you can see where it goes you can just run a wire in it's place. Frank
  9. Oh crap...ignore my reply. I really doubt that is the prob with your 09 Prob splines or drive pegs
  10. A freind had that happen to his max in topeka one year. The pinion nut sheared off inside. We just swapped the whole thing. Not safe by any stretch. Sorry bud Frank
  11. I was wondering how that one happened as well. Didn't see any follow up in the news at all. Seems they don't follow up on any of the stuff I want to know about. Ride safe all.
  12. I have an app called baygenie that does that for you. Works very well. Cool purchase! Frank
  13. Ouch! Glad you are ok! Frank
  14. I'm hoping someone has a bit of advice, this is on my list of stuff I would like to do. I have to find the bars first. Please take notes when you tackle this one. Good luck Frank
  15. The 2 man team stuff where they are leashed together is really impressive too! Frank
