It could be a tough one to track down. I hate intermittent issues like that. I've seen it happen, but rarely, when the lean angle sensor caused that exact problem. I had a friend that went through that and it took a long time and several dealers to finally identify the problem. As stated though, it could be the ignition switch. When it quits and won't start, do all the dash lights and indicators still work? -
Due to those problems, I have moved the classifieds to the forum. They are all listed at the bottom part of the discussion forum. All the new areas, including "Member Vendors" have been created. It is now just a matter of our members getting their ads re-posted to the new sections.

OK folks, due to continuing issues with our classifieds section, I am going to see how it works by doing away with the separate classifieds area and creating forum areas for our classifieds. I have already created the new forums and you'll see them if you scroll down on the home page of the forum. There are positives and negatives to moving them to the forum. Positives: Possibly more exposure for the ads. Better integration with the forum software. Will put an end to headaches that the present system is causing me with ads mysteriously going away, being marked sold, etc. Negatives: No integrated "buy now" button. PayPal and/or payment info will have to be worked out through contact with the seller. No option to "renew" an ad. They are set to expire in 60 days and then if your item hasn't sold, you will just have to replace your ad. No "miles from me" indication but most complained that the feature didn't work anyway. So, we'll see how it works out and go from there. I will leave the current classifieds open for a few days. If you have items or an item for sale in the classifieds, please take the time to add it to the new area as your existing add will be gone in a few days.

The board does allow embedded video. There is even a forum named "videos" dedicated to them. I'm not sure what all you are doing but all you have to do is go to the video, copy the URL from your browser and paste it into your post. I have software installed here that does the rest.

If it was repaired properly, it may be OK. I agree that it really does hurt the price but it sounds like he has it priced a good bit lower than KBB already. I just checked and a 2008 Ranger with no additions, just the regular cab, 4 cylinder and 5 speed..NO options added, comes out to $9,065.00 in good condition. So if it is a fairly basic truck, he is getting close to 1/3 off that price already. I think that is still a little high for a truck with a salvage title but I don't know how it is equipped either. If I was 100% confident that it was repaired properly. Frame is straight and not TOO much mud was used to repair it, I would want to buy it at no more than 2/3 of the KBB price and to be honest, I would rather get it closer to 50%. I had a friend in Texas who was in the rebuild business. I've owned 3 or 4 vehicles that he rebuilt and they had salvage titles. I always bought them cheap enough that I got my money out of them after driving them for a year and even made money on them a couple of times. It is a risk though and even though he was good at what he did, they weren't always as good as they looked.

BUT...that won't keep people from printing them. To be honest, I don't think there is a sure fire way to keep people from printing anything on the screen. You can disable right click and etc. but there are just too many ways to do a screen capture that would defeat anything you try to do.

I've never used it. I installed it at the request of some of our members. The way I understand it is that it reformats the site to make it fit better and be easier to read on smaller screens such as used on phones.

OK....I THINK I just made a change so that Tapatalk will still work but you shouldn't get the annoying popups letting you know that it's available. You may have to clear your cookies for the change to take effect.

All the same suggestions that I was about to make. Remember, the volume is separate for the CB and the Audio system. I would start by turning OFF the CB or adjusting the squelch all the way up to 20. You can turn the CB completely off by simply holding the CB button in for a few seconds.

Please understand that it's NOT that I am in love with Microsoft, it's just that for me, computers running Windows software do everything that I need them to do at MUCH less money than anything from Apple. Most of that article is about tablets and phones and I honestly have no passion for either of those things. If Microsoft was to go out of business tomorrow and I HAD to buy an Apple, it wouldn't be a big deal to me. I just don't have the need to do so at this time.

I agree. On a 2010, I would make the dealer take care of it. To answer your question though, you have to unbolt the speaker pods from inside the trunk. Then you remove that screw that you can see and you also have to peel off the black rubber pads and there is a screw under them also. When I replace my speakers, I was able to put them back on using the same double sided tape that were already on them.

There is a very good chance that is the problem. I know of several that this has happened to. There is a place, I think on the left side, that is almost like a pair of scissors. A small area that the wires can fall into and then get pinched or cut.

It may just be a coincidence that they haven't blown again with the lights off. Did you check the wires from the passing lamps where they cross the upper triple tree of the forks? I've seen SEVERAL cases where the wires get pinched when they are too far to the side and get smashed when the forks are turned.

OK...I just did a search and it appears that there are some electric solutions now but they are expensive. LG makes one that is designed to replace a 40 gallon electric tank heater but it is almost $600.00. -

Everybody note that he said it is an electric heater. There may be some now because I haven't looked in a few years but the last time I was looking, there weren't any tankless electric water heaters available. -

I think your dealer is wrong. I bought a '99 shortly after they came out. I bought it brand new in April of 1999. One key operated everything.

On my '99 and my previous '99 ONE key worked everything. That's the way it should be. I think that anybody who has a bike that requires more than one key, has a bike that something has been changed on.
