Can someone tell me how they work. I have a friend who put a car on Craigslist. A man from Texas called wanting it. No haggle on price, no questions, will send a truck to pick it up. Just wants her paypal account to send money. Thanks Richard

Thanks for the reply. I will be 70 my next birthday and I am reaching the place where I sometimes struggle a bit with stops and slow speeds with 2 up. I am not ready to stop riding or adding more wheels yet. If a smaller front tire would help me in that area for awhile, it would be something I would be willing to try. How does it effect the bike at higher speeds? I do ride at highway speeds a good amount of the time, but would be willing to sacrifice some, since I do fine on that end. Thanks Richard

Pick-up + 5th wheel camper + trailer/motorcycle

I pull a 5th wheel with a flatbed trailer loaded with a motorcycle. Never have had a cop give me a second look. In the 90's and early 2000's I pulled a 5th wheel with a pickup behind the 5th wheel. Never had a problem. I have a friend with a bumper pull camper. He put a trailer with a trike behind it. The first hill he went down, he said he swapped ends three times before he got to the bottom. The 5th wheel I have now is only 20+ ft. mc trailer is 10 ft. The 5th wheel I had back then was 32 ft. Richard -
I understand what you are saying. I have used a couple that are wet clutch friendly. I think additives are bikers " Snake Oil" anyway. They can't make enough money on oil alone, so they came up with more oil with a new name and different bottle and sell it for ten times the price. Pretty sweet deal. I was just looking for some more input on Bel Ray than the salesman who sold it to me, but thanks anyway. Richard

I'm really not interested in a debate on what oil is best or who uses what. . I thought I'd tried them all until the Bel Ray came to my attention.Just looking for opinions on the Bel Ray oil from someone who has used it. Thanks Richard

Went to a new bike shop yesterday looking for Aimsoil. He talked me into buying Bel Ray. It is the blend 10W40. My bike has gotten worse at shift clunking and engine noise on Rotella even with additives. After an oil change last week and no improvement, I had decided to give Aimsoil another try. After Bel Ray, I took a short trial run and no shift clunk and way less engine noise, even sounds better than when I used Aimsoil. Since I've never heard of it or don't remember seeing a thread on it, just wondering if anyone else uses it or has an opinion on it. Thanks Richard

I got it last winter, only used it a couple times. Used it once this winter. I've had it over a year, probably. I found a couple of them, but both were out of stock. If I remember, I had the same problem when looking for the jacket liner. Out of stock. It's the one with a green and red button. Round on one end. Big single cable on the other. three leds. Made in China, (I'm sure that helps. ) I found a couple on ebay, but they were different.

I'm 150 miles from home and turned my jacket on and zip, zero,nada. Third time I've used it. After I got home and thawed out, I checked for power, got juice. I go to take the controller apart, but I don't have a phillips small enough. I get on internet and look for controller, Out of stock. Anyone know where I might find one? Thanks Richard

Opps, never mind, I have a short. When I pull on the wire, I get results and smoke. It's coming from below the battery. It doesn't look like a handy place to be looking for a problem. Richard

I think I'm making headway. The bike was autostart, I unplugged the box and the lights went out. I plugged it back in and everything is normal. Probably just temperary. Since I don't know how to test it for sure, my next step is find another relay. Thanks for your help, Richard

Sorry to take so long to reply, Is it located below the coolant res.?. That's whats in front of my battery. Is it also called the "starter relay" for short or is it different. Whats the best way to get to it? Thanks Richard
