1. This was read on the Dr Phil show on Wednesday by Dr Phil and his wife, Robin at the end of his show. Then it was followed by a bell tolling for each life taken at Sandy Hook Elementary on Friday. I'm sure it will go viral, and it should since Jesus is the LIGHT. Eleven Days Before Christmas >> Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38 a.m. > > when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate. >> Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air, > > they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there. > > They were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say, > > they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day. > > "Where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse. > > "This is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house." > > When what to their wondering eyes did appear, > > but Jesus, their Savior, the children gathered near. > > He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same. > > Then He opened His arms and He called them by name, > > and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring. > > Those children all flew into the arms of their King > > and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace, > > one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face. > > And as if He could read all the questions she had > > He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad." > > Then He looked down on earth, the world far below, > > He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe. > > Then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand, > > "Let My power and presence re-enter this land!" > > "may this country be delivered from the hands of fools" > > "I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!" > > Then He and the children stood up without a sound. > > "Come now my children, let me show you around." > > Excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran, > > all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can. > > And I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight, > > "In the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT." > > > Written by Cameo Smith, Mt. Wolf, PA >
2. My daughter-in-law past away in her sleep on Tuesday afternoon. My son is broken-up right now. We laid her to rest today. Four children from 22 to 11. Please keep them in your prayers. tew47
3. well the day after i sold my bike. my 80 year old aunt the only family left on my fathers side. had a problem breathing. after going down to the ER she was rushed to peoria . when after many tests and xrays . she was found to have a golf ball size tumor on one lung and a tennis size on on the other. they did a pet scan for the whole body. and she has cancer. they give her any where from 4 to 6 months. she has out lived 3 of her children. the oldest one is still alive and he,s in his early 60,s. i have two aunts left on my mothers side. one is in a home and has dementia? she forgets who i am and calls me sometimes by my dead brothers name. the other aunt has nothing to do with us. after we told her she should go see her sister. and that we where mad that she could not even bother to call or come to my brothers funeral 5 years ago.. las vegas and losing 12 grand was more important. so im sorry to say. i wont talk to her. looks like the family line is slowly going away. as for the hack family. i have a daughter. no children. so the hack family name kind of ends with me. im the last hack son. but i guess if my daughter has children some of the hack blood remains?

5. THINGS TO THINK ABOUT ! 1. You spend the first two years of their life teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up. 2. Grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your own children. 3. Mothers of teens now know why some animals eat their young. 4. Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said. 5. The main purpose of holding children's parties is to remind yourself that there are children more awful than your own . 6. We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in. ADVICE FOR THE DAY: Be nice to your kids. They will choose your nursing home one day AND FINALLY: IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF TENSION AND YOU GET A HEADACHE, DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE ASPIRIN BOTTLE: 'TAKE TWO ASPIRIN' AND 'KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN'! Ok, now for a more serious side to this. I may be asking a stupid question, but are there laws to prevent my boy from riding with me at 6 yr old ? He is big enough to hold on and all. Just thinking about a very short ride around home sometime. He has asked about riding a couple times. I am thinking that he is not allowed until he has reached 16 yr old or so. That is what I told him last time he was interested. Fuzzy
6. A man driving a pickup truck was driving in the opposite direction when he crossed into their lane hitting them head on. He was speeding and is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. The man responsible for this tragedy was kicked out of a bar not far from where the incident occurred not long before the accident. That man, John P Heaney III was NOT arrested at the scene and has not been charged yet.John P Heaney III is a former Plainfield NJ police officer that retired after a disability claim. He was NOT arrested at the scene. I'm sure that if he plowed into a mother with her children or a group of kids on bicycles he would still be sitting in a jail cell. But he just hit a group of bikers. Please read this: http://bikersofameric...http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/clear.gif Please feel free to forward it to anybody that you wish. We need to do all that we can to make sure that the man that caused this accident with his careless actions does not get away with drunk driving - and causing an accident that left two wives without their husband, and their children without a father. The DAs contact info: John M. Morganelli Northampton County Courthouse 669 Washington St Easton PA 18042-7492 Phone: (610) 559-3020 Peace, GEORGE BOUTIN PLEASE HELP GET THE WORD OUT AND PASS THIS ALONG ON ANY SITE OR TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WILL STAND UP FOR MICHAEL AND KEITH SINCE THEY CAN NO LONGER STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES. 7. Just got word from my siblings in Maine. My Mom's oncologist said her fight with stage 4 lung cancer may be coming to an end in the next few months. The cancer has spread to her liver and she is losing weight rapidly. The doctor told my Dad it's time to contact Hospice and make some final plans. Last week we were able to celebrate my parents 55th anniversary with all of her family. Close to 60 family members, including all 6 kids, spouses, grand children, and great grand children were able to attend. Mom told the doctor that this was all she was waiting for. My brothers, sisters, and myself only wish to pass along one thing: If you smoke, please, please stop before it's too late.
8. I got a call at 11 last night that my elderly mom had taken a bad turn. The family rallied around, the parish priest gave her her final blessings at 3 this morning and she went off to be with god and my father at 7 this morning. 11 children, 43 grand children and 27 great grand children and all of the spouses will now just have our memories. Hug your children for me will ya........
9. A lady is throwing a party for her granddaughter, and had gone all out..... a caterer, band, and a hired clown. Just before the party started, two bums showed up looking for a handout. Feeling sorry for the bums, the woman told them that she would give them a meal if they will help chop some wood for her out back. Gratefully, they headed to the rear of the house. The guests arrived, and all was going well with the children having a wonderful time. But the clown hadn't shown up. After a half and hour, the clown finally called to report that he was stuck in traffic, and would probably not make the party at all. The woman was very disappointed and unsuccessfully tried to entertain the children herself. She happened to look out the window and saw one of the bums doing cartwheels across the lawn. She watched in awe as he swung from tree branches, did mid-air flips, and leaped high in the air. She spoke to the other bum and said, "What your friend is doing is absolutely marvelous. I have never seen such a thing. Do you think your friend would consider repeating this performance for the children at the party? I would pay him $50!" The other bum says, "Well, I dunno. Let me ask him. "Hey Willie! For $50, would you chop off another toe?"
10. An old cowboy counseled his grandson that if he wanted to live a long life the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gun powder on his oatmeal every morning. The grandson did this religiously to the age of 103. When he died, he left . . . 14 children, 30 grand-children, 45 great grandchildren, 25 great-great grand children, and a 15 foot hole where the crematorium used to be
11. Three new grandchildren. Zackery, Dani-Lynn, and Kinley. Sorry for the confusion. I should have given a little more info. These cuties are not triplets. We are a Brady bunch and have six children. These are from three different mothers. Zach was born in Feb, Dani and Kinley in March. We also have five other grandchildren, they are: Emily, Braydon, Tyler, Alyssa, and Addison.
12. My wife has been baking last 2 nights for a donation to the local Schools carnival. They sell baked goods and use the money to provide games tickets to under privaledged children. She got the monkey bread a little to done on the outside so I get it I am a happy man. Now she is making another one for the kids
13. I have been offer a position in our fire department as Chief. I have many many years commited to the dept and feel like I am ready for it, but its a huge responsibility just the same. At least they gave me plenty of time to think it over. I was asked Monday, meeting is Wednesday I already have my business, I'm a board member for our 911 emergency services, member of the community betterment association, do all the presentations from the fire dept to daycares and home schooled children, have 4 children and a wife and now they want me to be Chief But other then that I dont have much going on so I am considering it.
14. I have never heard of this until today. I recieved this from a friend today in an E-mail. I have had CPR training on the job, but this is differant and sounds like the way to go with adults. But not for infants and children or someone who is a drowning victum. Please watch to the end. You could save someones life. http://tinyurl.com/2fx8r59
15. Lesson 1 1. Go to the grocery store. 2. Arrange to have your salary paid directly to their head office. 3. Go home. 4. Pick up the paper. 5. Read it for the last time. Lesson 2 Before you finally go ahead and have children, find a couple who already are parents and berate them about their... 1. Methods of discipline. 2. Lack of patience. 3. Appallingly low tolerance levels. 4. Allowing their children to run wild. 5. Suggest ways in which they might improve their child's breastfeeding, sleep habits, toilet training, table manners, and overall behavior. Enjoy it because it will be the last time in your life you will have all the answers. Lesson 3 A really good way to discover how the nights might feel... 1. Get home from work and immediately begin walking around the living room from 5PM to 10PM carrying a wet bag weighing approximately 8-12 pounds, with a radio turned to static (or some other obnoxious sound) playing loudly. (Eat cold food with one hand for dinner) 2. At 10PM, put the bag gently down, set the alarm for midnight, and go to sleep. 3. Get up at 12 and walk around the living room again, with the bag, until 1AM. 4. Set the alarm for 3AM. 5. As you can't get back to sleep, get up at 2AM and make a drink and watch an infomercial. 6. Go to bed at 2:45AM. 7. Get up at 3AM when the alarm goes off. 8. Sing songs quietly in the dark until 4AM. 9. Get up. Make breakfast. Get ready for work and go to work (work hard and be productive) Repeat steps 1-9 each night. Keep this up for 3-5 years. Look cheerful and together. Lesson 4 Can you stand the mess children make? T o find out... 1. Smear peanut butter onto the sofa and jam onto the curtains. 2. Hide a piece of raw chicken behind the stereo and leave it there all summer. 3. Stick your fingers in the flower bed. 4. Then rub them on the clean walls. 5. Take your favorite book, photo album, etc. Wreck it. 6. Spill milk on your new pillows. Cover the stains with crayons. How does that look? Lesson 5 Dressing small children is not as easy as it seems. 1. Buy an octopus and a small bag made out of loose mesh. 2. Attempt to put the octopus into the bag so that none of the arms hang out. Time allowed for this - all morning. Lesson 6 Forget the BMW and buy a mini-van. And don't think that you can leave it out in the driveway spotless and shining. Family cars don't look like that. 1. Buy a chocolate ice cream cone and put it in the glove compartment. Leave it there. 2. Get a dime. Stick it in the CD player. 3. Take a family size package of chocolate cookies. Mash them into the back seat. Sprinkle cheerios all over the floor, then smash them with your foot. 4. Run a garden rake along both sides of the car. Lesson 7 Go to the local grocery store. Take with you the closest thing you can find to a pre-school child. (A full-grown goat is an excellent choice). If you intend to have more than one child, then definitely take more than one goat. Buy your week's groceries without letting the goats out of your sight. Pay for everything the goat eats or destroys. Until you can easily accomplish this, do not even contemplate having children. Lesson 8 1. Hollow out a melon. 2. Make a small hole in the side. 3. Suspend it from the ceiling and swing it from side to side. 4. Now get a bowl of soggy Cheerios and attempt to spoon them into the swaying melon by pretending to be an airplane. 5. Continue until half the Cheerios are gone. 6. Tip half into your lap. The other half, just throw up in the air. You are now ready to feed a nine- month-old baby. Lesson 9 Learn the names of every character from Sesame Street , Barney, Disney, the Teletubbies, and Pokemon. Watch nothing else on TV but PBS, the Disney channel or Noggin for at least five years. (I know, you're thinking What's 'Noggin'?) Exactly the point. Lesson 10 Make a recording of Fran Drescher saying 'mommy' repeatedly. (Important: no more than a four second delay between each 'mommy'; occasional crescendo to the level of a supersonic jet is required). Play this tape in your car everywhere you go for the next four years. You are now ready to take a long trip with a toddler. Lesson 11 Start talking to an adult of your choice. Have someone else continually tug on your skirt hem, shirt- sleeve, or elbow while playing the 'mommy' tape made from Lesson 10 above. You are now ready to have a conversation with an adult while there is a child in the room. This is all very tongue in cheek; anyone who is parent will say 'it's all worth it!' Share it with your friends, both those who do and don't have kids. I guarantee they'll get a chuckle out of it. Remember, a sense of humor is one of the most important things you'll need when you become a parent!
16. The United Way realized that it had never received a donation from the city's most successful lawyer. So a United Way volunteer paid the lawyer a visit in his lavish office. The volunteer opened the meeting by saying, 'Our research shows that even though your annual income is over two million dollars, you don't give a penny to charity. Wouldn't you like to give something back to your community through the United Way ?' The lawyer thinks for a minute and says, 'First, did your research also show you that my mother is dying after a long, painful illness and she has huge medical bills that are far beyond her ability to pay?' Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbles, 'Uh . . . no, I didn't know that.' 'Secondly,' says the lawyer, 'did it show that my brother, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair and is unable to support his wife and six children?' The stricken United Way rep begins to stammer an apology, but is cut off again. 'Thirdly, did your research also show you that my sister's husband died in dreadful car accident, leaving her penniless with a mortgage and three children, one of whom is disabled and another that has learning disabilities requiring an array of private tutors?' The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, says, 'I'm so sorry, I had no idea.' And the lawyer says, 'So . . . if I didn't give any money to them, what makes you think I'd give any to you?'
17. My number two son, Jeff is marrying his long time sweetheart Jenna. He is the last of Mary and I's five children to get hitched. http://mi-cache.legacy.com/legacy/images/Celebrations/Photos/CAN-Windsor/photo_144672285.jpghttp://mi-cache.legacy.com/legacy/images/Celebrations/spacer.gifhttp://mi-cache.legacy.com/legacy/images/Celebrations/announce1/photo_BL.gifhttp://mi-cache.legacy.com/legacy/images/Celebrations/spacer.gifhttp://mi-cache.legacy.com/legacy/images/Celebrations/announce1/photo_BR.gif
18. This afternoon the neighboring school (our rival) had an accident with one of their school busses. The bus was on a rural delivery route. The bus stopped at a hwy intersection, and then pulled out in front of a semi carrying cement pillars. The long and short of it is that the bus lost. the semi was messed up pretty good. The school bus had 5 litttle kids left on it. All 5 went to the hospital, 1 was air lifted, 1 by ambulance, and the others by private vehicle. According to the news tonight none of the injuries are life threatening. The bus itself was ripped loose from the frame. Both drivers were ok I believe. I believe that once the names are released, I will know all of the parents of these children. The man upstairs was watching over them all today. So if you can spare a minute those children in Conde SD, could use a little prayer from you all as well as for their parents. When something like this happens it really makes you think how trivial all our lifes problems are, and how fast your life can be snatched from you and changed forever.
19. Ron and I have been riding motorcycles for well over 30 years, like many of you. Motorcycling is what has kept us enthusiastic about life and has given us so many wonderful memories and experiences. It is what makes our relationship strong and keeps us with a very mutual interest. Have you ever given any thought as to, if you did not have motorcycling in your life, what would the alternative be? Everything I can think of in our life, other than our children and our granddaughter would be separate interests. Ron's interests are all technical, and mechanical. I am not that at all. Point of this whole post? Thank the Lord for Motorcycling in our lives, it makes all the difference. We are blessed. Yama Mama:ice_awesome-vi46644
20. Hey Kevin, Just letting you know to start looking for a parcel. Sending you donations for raffle prizes for the International Rally. Put a couple of things in that would suit children, in case some are going. Don't know when it might arrive, due to the volcano thing going on Just let me know when it gets there okay.
21. I learned late Friday night that James Bougher, one of my local riding buddies, fellow brother F.O.E. Eagle Rider Group Secretary/Treasurer, and friend passed away suddenly Thursday morning due to a Heart Attack. He is survived by his wife and two small children. Please keep his family in your prayers. His funeral will be held Monday and the Aerie 714 F.O.E. Riders Group will be escorting the funeral procession.
22. Went to a CMA and PGR funeral friday. The man was 84 years old. He was married before he was drafted in 1943. His wife died a year after their 11 child was born. He never remarried and raised all eleven children by himself. He had 11 children, 31 grand children, 70 great grand children, 4 great great grand children for a total of 116 descendants. Quite a MAN! tew47
23. Without getting into the boring family court matters to deeply (I hope) We are waiting for the official "Amber Alert", my wife is trying to get a Judges signature as I type this. My wife Ex-Husband was told by Child Protective Services yesterday about 12 noon to stay away from the children. By 12:30 he had found my step son (Tanner) playing at a friends house and told him to get in the truck. His father has (had) joint custody of Tanner, therefore the police refused to do anything without a written order from the Judge. Bio-Dad was a member of the Dept's Search and Rescue team and is known by all of the police in his town. Fast forward to this AM... 8am, the CPS worker has been with the Prosecuting Attorney all day working on two felony charges ( before the abduction ) for taking the phone away from one of the children while he was trying to call the police and the second for stopping the children from going to the neighbors to call the police, by psychically pushing them back in the house and throwing them on the couch. My wife had to be in the Judges Chambers at 1:30 (it's now 1:35) and I am pacing with phone in hand... We believe they are headed to Nashville TN and left out this AM about 7-7:30. Could be headed to Missouri Fathers Name is Greg they are driving a white dualy extended cab pickup, unknown make as of now. Tanner is 11 years old last name of ******* as well, by now they should be in KY or southern OH if he is driving slow. The truck is an old beater and could break down, so everyone in OH keep an eye on the shoulder of the Highway. When we get the Amber Alert I will post it and it will contain more info on both T***** and G****. This is ******'s most recent school picture. Picture removed at lawyers request If you see him, DO NOT APPROACH!! G***** is a mentally deranged man and capable of anything. MAY BE ARMED!! If you spot him call the police, as well as my cell phone ART 810-877-3006
24. mraf

If I

If I could. I would what. For me it would be to turn back time and spend more time with my children through their school years. Work was always in the way then. Now I know, to late, work will always be there.
25. Our STAR chapter is going to host its first annual "Kick-start this Summer" Spit Roasted Whole Hog Roast - May 9th - at Rankin Park in Martinez, CA. The time will be from 12PM - 3PMish. This is going to be a catered affair, chicken available for those who don't eat pork, along with salads, fruit, etcetc. This will be a non-alcoholic event. One of our members has volunteered his band - the Ghostriders - and our proceeds will be donated to the local Contra Costa Food Bank. We are projecting a price of $20.00 for adults, less for children. I want to invite all the VentureRiders - espcially those here in Northern California. Details are still being worked out - but thought I would post this so you all can save the date. We're "Going Hog Wild" and I Hope to See You All There.
