  1. Great place to do business, very competitive. From email: Get Ready For The Ride Sale at www.stadiumyamaha.com Spring is almost here so we are offering a special to help you get your ride ready. Take an extra 15% OFF of OUR ALREADY LOW PRICES on any order over $100 with coupon code SPRINGRIDE at http://www.stadiumyamaha.com
  2. Apparently, at Geico when they look up "MSF Instructor", there must be a picture of 4 motorcycles in the "Cage Of Death!" from the Circus. That would explain why they don't want to insure you. Those Cages of Death are... deadly.
  3. Always got excellent service from them. When you walk in, even though you don't look like a Crotch Rocket Rider, they greet you and are friendly. Jason, the Manager, usually comes out to say something as I leave. I always tell him that I pass the Yamaha store 3 miles from the house to drive all the way across Dallas to get to Stadium. Can't recommend them more than that.
  4. Just got this in an email from Stadium Yamaha in Irving TX.... Safe an extra 10% of our already low prices now through January 31st 2013 Use coupon code 10MORE at time of check on any orders over $100 and automatically save 10% off your order. Act now before the new year factory price increases. Coupon code 10MORE www.stadiumyamaha.com
  5. I got the mirrors from Rick over at Value-Accessories.Net Great people to deal with! http://store.valueaccessories.net/LEDTurnSignalMirrors.aspx
  6. Glad you missed them. YES, you need the Stebel/Wolo horn on the bike. It has saved me in Dallas Interstate traffic more than 3 times. Guaranteed to make Soccer Mommie in the SUV to drop her phone from fright! (ask me how I know. Insert evil smile here) Also let me say this: I put the lighted Rivco mirrors on the MC over 2 years ago. Since then, I have reduced to almost no issues with people "not seeing me" and encroaching on my lane. I am a firm believer in 'Lighting Up' that motorcycle to be seen.
  7. Brian, it was/is a great bike. I had one prior to getting the RSTD. I miss the Belt Drive and the EFI. Always started with a touch on the starter button, regardless of temperature. Ha! I put 24K miles on mine before I sold it. No issues. Much lighter and easier to push around in traffic, then the RSTD. But no way does that motor compare to the ride you get with the V4. I have to climb a slight hill as you come into Rockwall on I-30, and remember having to downshift to keep the power up on the V*1300. Never happens on the RSTD. Seriously, this and its 950cc cousin are the MCs I tell people to look at if they are getting into riding or wanting to get their first 'cruiser'.
  8. The RSTD has no trunk. With $300 worth of Comm Gear in the Nolan Fullface helmet, it goes with me. The Scorpion half-helmet gets locked in the saddlebag.
  9. http://sierrastarlaketahoe.com/ He has it up for sale. Asking $50 Million for the property.
  10. Thanks for the heads-up. I picked up mine yesterday.
  11. Joe, best I can give you is this. My Best Friend got one. Anyway, he let me play with it, and showed me features on the phone. He has always been a MS Phone guy. Cool things about the Nokia 920. It has the "pad charging" ability, where you lay it on a pad and it will charge your phones without wires. Suhweet! The phone is 4LTE, uber fast, the screen is 16:9 and stunning, the Win8 OS was smooth. It comes with MS Office, so I watched him open business Excel spreadsheets with graphs on the phone. I thought the customization was pretty nice. (I have an iPhone 3Gs) It was really lite, super thin. Buttons were easy to reach. Only gripes my friend seemed to have dealt with Win8, not the phone itself. And those were minor to the point of nit-picky. Ha! I myself am ready to look around for a phone. I am leaning towards the Samsung Galaxy S3 (Anyone have feedback on the S3?) A REALLY nice phone. I would not hesitate to buy it IF I wanted a Win8 phone. And I still might. LOL!
  12. Got this in my Inbox... Now through Nov. 15th receive an extra 10% off any order placed online at www.stadiumyamaha.com Just type in GIVEME10 in the coupon code at time of check out and you will get the extra 10% off.
