  1. Anybody here watch tv over the internet. My nephew received some type of device that allows them to watch TV can't remember the name of it. I know you can somehow do it with a X-Box or Playstation but were not interested in that. This magic gizmo allows you to watch on your television and not the computer. We have a DSL connection not sure of speed or how to check it but it is a reliable connection. Any help would be appreciated I'm just tired of paying for a bunch of stuff I don't watch (dish network ) and looking for alternatives. thanks Vincent
  2. Are you and your family traveling this holiday season and staying in a hotel, well you better watch this...........you might change your mind. http://www.liveleak.com/player.swf?token=a7f_1194813218
  3. Cool looking bagger with: Throttle body injection, satellite XM radio and satellite navigation, 1300cc, 50 mpg, iPod & iPhone audio? Sign me up! http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/products/modelhome/672/0/home.aspx Be sure to watch the video. http://imageshand.yamahamotors.com/img.jpg?id=18511&class=med640 (oh, and thank you Steve, you even influenced motorcycle design!)

  5. might have been posted before but... You can smell the rubber burning as you watch. Must view on full screen. What a ride! What a driver!!! You’d have to wear Depends to ride with this guy! Betcha can't watch just once. It sounds like the little car is running bad.....one reason it sounds like it is cutting out is because the rev limiter keeps the R.P.M.. from going too high and blowing the motor........the other popping sound is the wastegate on the turbo. Also note at the very end, the sparks coming from the rear wheel rims as the tires burn down .. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=4TshFWSsrn8&vq=medium#t=35
  6. I think that many of us will agree that there are a lot of TV shows that are pretty crappy. I used to enjoy shows like Storage Wars when it first came out, but it has become so scripted that I have about quit watching it. I just don't do well with reality type shows. One of the shows that I always skipped over, like Jersey Shore, was the The Big Bang Theory. A couple of months ago I sat down with my grandson, who was watching TBBT and found it to be surprisingly entertaining. Now, with all the reruns on, I have found it to be one that I will stop and watch when I am surfing the channels. Does anyone else watch this show? RandyA
  7. Watch to the end http://www.youtube.com/embed/F7pYHN9iC9I?rel=0
  8. Do you ever watch one of the videos posted on here and when it ends it shows about a dozen more to choose from and then you watch one more and then there is about a dozen more....? Sometimes I will end up watching videos for a while that just seem to go on and on. One of the frustrations is when you will have several that pops up that are interesting and if you watch one, you may loose the other interesting ones, and you can not back up. Sometimes I will go back to the original posted video and when it finishes, pick a different one from the last time and see where it goes. RandyA
  9. Watch this, you will smile, I promise. It is actually an HP Printer & Evian Water commercial. But, there are only a few seconds which actually bring attention to the HP printer & Evian water. The bulk of the commercial is purely entertainment. And, it is amazing! I don't know how they do this kind of stuff, but it is flawless. It is so perfectly done that I could not find one thing that would make you think it wasn't real if you didn't know any better. Cool! Click "Great Commercial" below………. Great commercial
  10. Not sure how many F1 fans are here... my son sent me a clip on Ayrton Senna that was done on "Top Gear" a few years ago. I've seen the Senna movie and watched races when Senna was still with us. For those that haven't seen the Senna movie... watch it ! If you aren't familiar with Senna... watch the "Top Gear" clip. Amazing racer ![ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oLSYSJO5Ik&feature=share]Top Gear on Ayrton Senna (Full Segment) - YouTube[/ame] Cars of the 80's... turbo charged 1200+hp, no drivers aids, manual shifting, little aerodynamic downforce, mostly mechanical grip. Hamilton's comments are interesting. Drivers made more of a difference then. Now... best aero package and less of the driver. Summer break for F1 racing... 11 days to the next "fix".
  11. I don't care if you are old or young you have to watch this guy. He is a Christian comedian, too funny not to watch!!!
  12. Watch this video and if it does not lift your spirits, you need to watch it again! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt3VkoUEkxE&feature=player_detailpage]Boogie-woogie - YouTube[/ame]
  13. My birthday was a couple weeks ago and I was off on a ride in Tn. When we got home my neighbor ladies, a few houses down came to my house with a gift box. Now, I thought this was somewhat strange in itself, me being new in the neighborhood(only been here about 3 months) and that the ladies who brought me the gift box are rumored to be lesbians, I didn't think they even liked men, much less well enough to give one they hardly knew a birthday gift! Well, I opened the box and it contained a shiney new survival type watch. I was flabbergasted and surprised beyond belief. It was fantastic timepiece. My wife poked me in the rib and said"Don't you think you should say something instead of standing there dazed and confused looking"? I sort of stammered,,,, I think there has been a mistake, I mean the watch is fantastic and the generosity of you two is unbelievable but I think there has been a misunderstanding on what I said,,, I said I "Wanted to watch, not that I Wanted A watch"
  14. I just noticed on the calender that Dacheedah (Kevin) Has invited us to the boat races on the river and we can go to his house and watch the festivities. I think it sounds like a great time. Shirley and I signed up. Here is the link http://www.venturerider.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=322&day=2012-9-1&c=1
  15. My 1983 venture will stall hear and there, when idles too long cough and weez when giving gas but will rev up. When gas is low wont start very easy. The idle is up and down. Could it be my fuel pump? Watch the fuel filter and gas was popping ever 5 or so seconds.
  16. This video from Eau Claire, WI is on the St. Paul Pioneer Press web site. Watch out for roads buckling! http://www.twincities.com/wisconsin/ci_20998276/video-suv-flying-after-hitting-buckled-road-near Stay safe, Dave
  17. This is NOT meant to be political, just an FYI! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS, but it is true!! Watch the newscast video and stay calm! http://www.wthr.com/video?clipId=7054149&autostart=true :doh:Earl
  18. The Canadian version, that is. I've heard that what we get up here is not quite the same content as the U.S. My wife and I like to watch movies now and then but I get annoyed at all the stuff the networks cut out. Except for some of the special effects filled movies, I'm quite happy to wait a few months and watch them at home on TV rather than at the theatre - that gets expensive in a hurry. I've gone to their site to check out what they have available, but there doesn't seem to be a way to bring up everything. You have to use their "browse" function which only shows a few movies in each category or use "search" which brings up a lot of stuff that doesn't seem to belong in that category. So - how do my fellow Canadians feel about Netflix? Is it worth the $8.00 per month? That sounds better than the $5.00 + the cable company wants for one movie rental. Andy
  19. But Still FUNNY!!! Wonder if it was our resident "West by God" State Trooper???:rotf: A senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left. "Amazing," he thought as he flew down I-94, pushing the pedal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a state trooper behind him, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mp...h, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, "What am I doing? I'm too old for this," and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival. Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go." The old gentleman paused. Then he said, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a State trooper. I thought you were bringing her back." "Have a good day, sir," replied the trooper.

  21. Hi, A very good friend of mine just moved from Wisconsin to Maine, and I'm planning a solo ride this summer up thru the UP, across the Soo and taking what 17, 417 and what appears to be 40 across Ontario thru Montreal to Augusta, Maine. Looking like a mid-late July trip What kind of roads can I expect? typical summer weather patterns in that area? Pretty long distances with few gas stations on the western side? Need to watch out for Moose? :confused24:Advice or input welcome...Have NEVER ridden in Canada...Have passport etc... but certainly need advice from riders who have been there, done that. Thanks, Clay Menomonie ,WI

My doc just informed me its time to start thinking about a knee replacement. I remember people talking about their experiences with this and was hoping for some feedback about what to watch out for! Is one brand knee better than another? Thanks, Kenw
  23. I hope this works, you know me, I usually goof up these things. http://www.miniatur-wunderland.com/exhibit/video/5-minutes-wunderland/ It is worth your time to watch, I think! But try it anyway. Yama Mama
  24. One of the local kids playing with the log truck again. Looks like another hold my beer and watch this moment. This was taken about 1/2 mile from my house. Looks like Jamie almost made her out on the highway. Had her chained down good to. I live on the No License No Insurance side of the County. Anything goes here least my insurance is paid up. http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m580/ggrabose/Falls%20Mill/LocalLoggers.jpg
