  1. This is amazing. Randy Driver survives his pickup truck's demolishing by two semis - CBS News
  2. Incredible piece of engineering. OPERATIONAL THERE ARE STILL SOME REAL ENGINEERS IN THE WORLD. THIS IS AMAZING..... Watch it all the way through, he machines, assembles and runs this little engine..... This is not CNC technology; this guy made everything at home on his lathe and drill press. Took 1220 hours (a year and a half?) to make the 261 pieces. Note the end-loaded crankshaft into the block (like an Offy), 12 individual cylinder heads, TINY rods and pistons, dual "underhead" cams with pushrods to rockers in the heads. And, he did break-in runs using an electric drill driving the crankshaft! Even if you're not an engineer, you'll appreciate this! http://www.wimp.com/tiniestengine/
  3. This is amazing.. Wow.. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4h_8EThuec&list=PL98A556CD430E890E&index=2&feature=plpp_video]Lee Hartung Collection Day 1: 4 out of 5 - YouTube[/ame] And go here if you want to see more
  4. Hello Everyone! Just got back from an amazing trip south. Road the Skyline and the Blueridge all the way down to Gatlinburgh and back. While I was down that far I decided to ride the Dragon. What ride,318 turns in 11 miles. I have to say the Venture did very well on the whole trip. What an amazing bike! Not even a hit of trouble and handled great! Been wanting to do this for awhile now so I can scratch this off my bucket list!
  5. Here's some pics of our Meet yesterday. Now I don't know but looks like Beer really missed some of us more then others. Of course he was on also as you can see when he had everyone's attention. The only amazing thing is that these folks don't see us coming and lock the place up. Margaret
  6. The tree is on Vashon Island, which is between Tacoma and Seattle, Washington. Quite amazing! http://venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=71713&d=1348117744
  7. A friend sent me this link to these vids that are strung together over a few days while clearing out an auto and bike collector estate. It is the most amazing collection of old bikes ive ever seen, and they started some that hadnt run for 70 years or more! http://www.coolestone.com/media/3728/America039;s-Ultimate-Barn-Find/ Enjoy! Brian
  8. Amazing [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3j6HaAieEU&feature=email]NEW TECHNOLOGY (AMAZING)[/ame]

  12. A friend told me last night that 86% of the HD's manufactured since 1991 are still on the road. I thought that was amazing.
  13. Just read that Peter Falk has passed. May he rest in peace. An amazing actor and person. If there was a show he was in, I watched it.
  14. INTERESTING OBSERVATION 1. The sport of choice for the urban poor is BASKETBALL. 2 The sport of choice for maintenance level employees is BOWLING. 3 The sport of choice for front-line workers is FOOTBALL. 4 The sport of choice for supervisors is BASEBALL. 5 The sport of choice for middle management is TENNIS. And.... 6 The sport of choice for corporate executives and officers is GOLF. THE AMAZING CONCLUSION: The higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become. There must be a ton of people in Ottawa playing marbles! O0H YES !!!!
  15. I have a friend who makes the loveliest jewellery using all natural stones. Each design is individual. It's amazing what mother nature can produce, take a look............. http://www.janinestonedesigns.blogspot.com/
  16. This stuff is really amazing and easy to use, but man does it stink until it dries! Strongly advise to mix and use it in a very well ventilated area. http://www.plast-aid.com/video/Introducing_PlastAid_BB.mov
  17. this was in email at work
  18. Just attended the funeral procession for a well respected police officer here in Toronto. Normally I would not do this type of post, but the event was so amazing and moving. Close to 10,000 officers marched 8 abreast (over 1/2 a mile long) to honor this officer who was killed on duty by a mentally ill homeless man driving a stolen snow plow. Officers from across Canada marched, as well as some from the US. Our fellow VentureRider, Dogman (Dave), marched with his dog and other Toronto Canine Unit officers and I suspect there were others marching.
  19. Took a little ride in the car around Boone, NC yesterday and a little on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I couldn't go too far on the BRP as it was closed in about 5 miles in the direction I was going. It is amazing the clarity of the air in that area compared to summer time. RandyA
  20. My daughter (by marriage) She wrote and composed this and a few other songs. She's teamed up with an amazing guitarist and singer named Bobby. ... for your enjoyment. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkmWu0PI60Q&feature=related]YouTube - The Coffee Song-Tiffany and Bobby.mov[/ame]
  21. My friend was terribly overweight, so my doctor put him on this diet. He said, 'I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day, and then repeat this procedure for 2 weeks. The next time I see you, you should have lost at least 5 pounds.' When he returned, he shocked the doctor by having lost nearly 60lbs! 'Why, that's amazing!' the doctor said, 'Did you follow my instructions?' Yes he said...'I'll tell you though, I thought I was going to drop dead on the 3rd day on this diet." "From the hunger", asked the doctor. 'No, from the skippin'.
  22. Check this out! Pretty amazing. Next is the Stepford Wives! http://www.flixxy.com/singing-and-dancing-robot.htm
  23. This is the most detailed and amazing display I have ever seen! Although this video tours a good part of the display, check out the other video's at the bottom of the screens also! The airport is just amazing. Some of the video's are in German...but there are english subtitles http://www.miniatur-wunderland.com/exhibit/video/4-minutes-wunderland/
  24. I just installed a pair of K&N filters on my 07 RSTD and ever time I work on my bike I'm just amazed of all the thought and engineering that went into these bike. These bikes are put together well. When I traded my 08 Harley FXDL for it, I was kind of skeptical but I'm here to tell you that the Harley was not put together as well as my RSTD. I can't really explain it good enough, it's just, to me, a really fine machine and I love working on it. Does anyone else feel th:dancefool:is way? Mark
