2. I recently just finished my redo of my 1987 Venture Royale and took my first road trip on it to St.Mary's Ga from Atlanta and back I was pleased with the overall look and performance but was somewhat dissappointed in the original Audio radio/CB. intercome hair lip audio sound. I am contemplating ripping the orginal out and replacing it with some current technology. Does anyone have some advice on components and installation?
3. So I was thinking of switching up to the Docsis 3 Technology from Docsis 2 Have any of you had to pleasure or even noticed a differance in these Docsis 3 Technology type modoms? I just switched from Fiber Optics DSL Back to Cable, I was NOT happy with the DSL at all. Very pricy for such a low download speed. The Cable company does support the newer Docsis 3 Technology now. Just wanted to hear what others thought. Thanks Jeff
4. Since it's been a while since this has been talked about...I thought I would start another discussion to see if any "advances" have been made in TENT TECHNOLOGY. Obviously quick set-up and compactness when traveling is most important. Anything new on the TENT front. Wally
5. I found this information about new lithium-ion battery technology and how it may apply to electric vehicles interesting. http://oilandglory.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2011/02/07/how_the_us_may_win_the_battery_race

8. You all know I'm an idiot when it comes to technology so here's another one to throw at you..... I bought an IPOD shuffle, you know the small one that just plays music, to listen to while riding behind the hubby... Anyway....I know how to purchase and download tunes from the istore....but... is it possible to put music on my ipod (shuffle) from a dvd? Ex: I just purchased Elton John's Dream Ticket 4 DVD package. The problem is, that same music isn't available on a cd. (Now just so you know how worthless we are when it comes to technology....my son hooked up a surround system to our tv that has a built in dvd player and we still can't figure out how to play a dvd on it) (I'm so thankful I can't see you rolling your eyes when you read this, but I really appreciate your help)
9. The following video presentation has been brought to you by: http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af193/gdingy101/marinelogo.jpg Warning ! There is some very graphic language in following video clip of our Marines in action. You've been forewarned! This is an example of technology in action! The Marines on the ground have been pinned down by a sniper in the building in front of them. Enjoy Semper Fi
10. I found this website today which shows how riding jacket air bag technology works. I have heard very few comments about this type of riding jacket nor have any direct experience with this jacket. The technology seems very interesting but I wonder about reliability. The technology appears to be the same technology used in the old style buoyancy compensator used in scuba. I know from my scuba diving days however, the CO2 cartridge was not considered reliable in the old style buoyancy compensator (BC) which is why the new style BC's do not use them anymore. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with this jacket or technology? Has anyone seen any reviews or product testing for this jacket? http://www.crashbounce.com/howitworks.asp
11. Has anyone found a harmless, yet effective manner in which to remove the darn sticker they put on the gas tank that says read the manual, wear a helmet, and good luck getting this off??? I am anti-tank damage when it comes to getting this thing off. I cannot believe in this day and age of static stickers and technology that they would not have a better way. Any and all advice is welcome!
