Who is in Winnipeg these days? I have a son moving out there at the end of the week to go to U of Man and is looking for a place to live, maybe a smiling face to meet him at the airport. He is going for his Masters in Physics. :confused: He gets it from his mother in case you wanted to know.

....a little late, but we just made it home about 1/2 an hour ago. We, ummm....missed our flight Security at the airport was stupid and we got to our gate as they were pushing the bird away So we ended up sticking at Cleveland airport for a few extra hours and they flew us to Atlanta and then home to Texas. Had a BLAST!!! way too short as always, but worth every penny spent:thumbsup2: Met some new members and old friends, couldn't ask for a better time. We'll get some pics up for you folks in a few days, Lonna took over 500 of them As always thank you Don and Eileen for everything, we love you folks and can't wait to see y'all again. Safe travels for all still on the road.

ALWAYS ASK, NEVER ASSUME !! His request approved, the CNN News photographer quickly used a cell phone to call the local airport to charter a flight. He was told a twin-engine plane would be waiting for him at the airport. Arriving at the airfield, he spotted a plane warming up outside a hanger. He jumped in with his bag, slammed the door shut, and shouted, 'Let's go'. The pilot taxied out, swung the plane into the wind and took off. Once in the air, the photographer instructed the pilot, 'Fly over the valley and make low passes so I can take pictures of the fires on the hillsides.' 'Why?' asked the pilot.. 'Because I'm a photographer for CNN' , he responded, 'and I need to get some close up shots.' The pilot was strangely silent for a moment, finally he stammered, 'So, what you're telling me, is . . . You're NOT my flight instructor?'

Hi All Hope your your holiday is going well. Myself and christy had to work on christmas ( life in emegency services) so we are doing christmas today. We are trying to get my youngest daughters boy frend up from ga. Funny they get a inch of snow and go crazy at the airport. He is on his way just later than expected. It will still be a great day as I have taken a whole week off from work. Bull463:stickinouttounge:

Well...sort of. These guys do some frequent flight testing just a mile from where I live, so today, when I heard that familiar 'thrrrrumping' sound, I grabbed my camera and handheld radio and rode out to the airport to take some pictures and video. Tomorrow is Linda's birthday and our son that lives in Newark Ohio invited us down for lunch and an air show. All of us were running a tad late to get to the opening ceremony but as we were coming out of Bob Evans Linda looked up and couldn't even speak. There was a Stealth bomber flying at a serious low altitude heading to the airport for the flag raising fly-over. What an AWSOME site !! None of us had ever seen a Stealth except on television, still can't get over it. I gotta say tho, it must have been a defective one because they are supposed to be invisible and we all seen it. It made it's fly over ( we were only 3 miles from the airport) and we could see it turn almost tip toward ground, another awesome site. Because of the total traffic jam, it took a while to get into the airport but the wait was well worth it. There was more plane activity than I can explain and the best part was were were only 100 feet from the landing strip. GREAT DAY !! This show was in http://www.coshoctoncounty.net/agency/airport/

Well, I usually smile smugly when some folks start talking about having to put their bike up for the season - here in Texas, even North Texas, our winters are generally mild enough to ride all year long. But today is going to be an exception . . . [ATTACH]41317[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]41318[/ATTACH] Had a record snowfall yesterday - beat all records going back 111 years - between 9-14 inches in the DFW area. Officially they reported 12.5" at the airport, which is fairly close to my place. The good news is that we don't have much ice with it since the temps have stayed right around freezing. Lots of slush, and tonight looks like it is going to get down in the 20s, so tomorrow morning will be a bit dicey! Goose (Man, this global warming is TOUGH!)

We live in Edmonton, however, because it is WAY cheaper to fly out of Calgary, that is where we are leaving from on July 1st. I was wondering if anyone lived near the airport so I could leave my car at your place while gone. Will be back on the 16th pm. If anyone could help us out, it would be greatly appreciated. Greg

hey Yammer------I still have the frame,sub-frame,2 rims( but no rotors)swing-arm, a pair of OEM mufflers,and a clear title.
