  1. Having trouble finding bleeder screw for my 1983 clutch.
  2. Thank you. That's what I was afraid of. I'm going back to the old plan of retrofitting a new style head lamp assembly in place of the old one.
  3. Thinking of upgrading my headlight to a 12000K HID low / Halogen High kit #H4/9003-HB2. It says the light is light purple. I don't want something crazy but want a brighter light than stock. Do I have to change anything else or is it a direct replacement? Anybody have one that color I don't want to look like these rice rockets with there purple under glow kits. It has a AC ballest also. I have a 1983.
  4. Changed out battery to a high prof agm battery. Starts like new. What is the fix for the battery indicator light on dash? Sealed batteries don't come with the port for the sensor!
  5. What size battery should I use in NY 1983 venture? I found a 10 ah battery in there. Doesn't seem to be big enough. Was thinking to getting a 22 ah Did the cable upgrade. Still has a slow turnover. Draws down to the yellow on meter when chanking.
  6. Ok thanks. Ill give that a shot.
  7. Thanks for all the help. Bike is running good now. Just picked up a set of 2002 roadking pipes for nothing. Installing them this weekend. Just cleaned starter. Still having slow turnover. Going to replace soleniod next.
  8. I plan on it. I sure hope so.
  9. The 2 tubes on the shifter side? Was looking at them the other day noticed they broke off at the metal peice that holds them. Thought there were breather hoses.
  10. Thanks I'll give it a shot. Was running really good until last week.
  11. My 1983 venture will stall hear and there, when idles too long cough and weez when giving gas but will rev up. When gas is low wont start very easy. The idle is up and down. Could it be my fuel pump? Watch the fuel filter and gas was popping ever 5 or so seconds.
