  1. OK now you all have mewondering!! I have to admit I haven't ridden since Americade and going into the hospital. Maybe I AM thinking of my 1st gen!! The more I think about it, it IS an agrevation having to turn the volume down every time the wife wants to say something to me!! Yes, I am starting to remember now that's one more thing I don't like about my 2nd gen! No delay VOX on the audio circuit!! Sorry to all, I'm getting a little senile in my old age...
  2. Worth five times that or more parted out...
  3. Goose, I don't know about yours, but when we talk it mutes the radio. Maybe if you are listening to the speakers it may not, I don't know, but we always listen thru the headphones and any time we speak it mutes the radio, just like on the 1st gens do...
  4. All of the above...
  5. In addition to the above info, when you talk it will mute the radio or cassette or whatever you are listening to. The passenger has their own independant volume control...
  6. Which way is it not aligning, front to back or side to side? The headlight bucket has a spring like action due to the headlight adjuster having a spring on it. If it is a front to back misalignment you may try to crank your adjuster CCW a few turns, but keep track of how many turns, or just press the headlight in to get the tabs to align...
  7. We practice the two second rule...
  8. Take a towel with you to stuff between the rear seat and the trunk as there is a gap there and some women find that by putting something in there it is more comfortable. Also, if she finds it a little cramped, there is an extra set of holes and the trunk can be moved back about an incxh. A small amount of McGuiver'ing is necessary foer the rear holes, you need some spacers for them...
  9. Convert it to a trike, then it will always be level! There is a level glued onto my dash and it is surprising how unlevel it can be where you park...
  10. Any hotels in Romulus??
  11. As Richard Pryor oncw stated, "Snakes make you run into trees!!" Not a huge fan but the step daughter has 2 corn snakes as pets. Whatever!! I don't think I would try to pet a poisonous one! The fact that there was snakes kept in the children's room is child endangerment alone! Maybe in the interrogration room a few of those snakes should be allowed to accidently escape in the room with him...
  12. Yup!! Barring torrential downpours we will be there!!
  13. This is VERY important!!! Tire manufacturers recommend NOT using any tire, car, motorcycle, trailer etc. that is more than 6 years old!!!
  14. Yes, and you may be better off with Larry's version, depending on what trailer you use. With the stoch Hannigan hitch it puts the tongue of a standard trailer waaaay too low. I invderted mybolt in ball piece and the ball, and added a huge spacer between the ball and the plate but it is still too low! The hitch setup is designed for the Hannigan trailer...
  15. How long since you've SEEN your toes???
  16. For what it costs to ship across the border it may be cheaper to buy a new one...
  17. Andy, just wondering what Province it was from, might explain a lot...

  19. My good friend Jack, I pray that God Almighty provide you with all the comfort you need at this sad time in your life!!!
  20. As Moped enters the house with the phony newspaper and discovers Yama Mama under a pile of clothes, shoes and wooden shelves Mama, thinking fast, sees a perfect opportunity tro delay explaining what happened to Moped's beautiful and beloved RSV! She moans a little, stares into space, and when Moped asks "What happened?? Are you all right??" Mama looks Moped in the eyes and asks "Who are you???" "As a matter of fact, who am I and where am I??" Meanwhile back in NY Bongo Bob has located a perfrect black suit and white shirt as wwell as a plain solid tie. The only thing missing is the perfect pair of shades! Bongo checks his extensive collection of sunglasses for every occasion but alas, none of them fill the bill. Not to be discouraged, he sets off to the local Sunglasses R Us store. On the way he spots something familar in an open storage building. He is not sure, but it appears to be a collection of motorcycles that look as if he has seen them before somewhere. He trys to get turned around so he can investigate but discovers, due to the normal activities of construction season, this is not going to be easy. Back in Oberlin Sargent Saturday is staring into the pond wondering how he can lure one of the pond monsters tro the surface. Hmmm, I need some kind of device to attract the monsters, but what can I use??? I could always throw a stick of dynamite into the center of the pond but that might provoke them into attacking. Suddenly, at the water's edge he spots something! It appears to be a chain of some sort... Will Yama Mama be able to successfully fake amnesia?? Will Bongo Bob find the perfect sunglasses? What is that strange chain attached to? Find these answers and even more questuions as the writers dream them up on "AS THE WHEEL TURNS"
  21. I got mine for around $50 but that was 4 or 5 years ago...
  22. They go for around $200 or more! I lucked out from a member here and if I recall I paid $150...
  23. They busually go for around $50 a piece on Ebay these days. I was lucky, mine came with the bike...
  24. Done deal, Dan...
  25. Another vote for the Carbon One armrests!! Larry makes up a nice pair that flip up rather than the Diamond R's that swing out. I feel they are a lot safer! As far as the volume level, are you listening thru the headset or the speakers?? There are some nicer replacement speakers that will liven up the sound a bit. For XM radio mount go with a Ram Universal mount, they seem to be the best...
