  6. Pair of pliers, a little rubbing compound, it will look like new again! Glad you are OK Andy!!!
  7. The extra vibration may have tyhe same efect as that fellow riding the Beemer a while back...
  8. Well, I just got done installing the 7/8" master cylinder and tried it out and finally I am satrisfied!! The pedal has minimal travel, and I can lock up the rear end easily but have to deliberately do it! I think the 13/16" might be the absolute perfect master for a little more pedal travel but slightly less effort to stop, akin to power brakes but then it might be too easy to lock up the rear. The 3/4" master had just a tad too much pedal travel to my liking and it was almost way too easy to lock 'em up! Maybe some other year if I ever find a 13/16" master cylinder I'll try it out but for now the 7/8" works perfect for me as is! I got a good deal on it, $63 shipped as opposed to the $79 I was paying from Jeggs and/ or Summit as well as JC Whitney. I know, you all want pictures! Well, I took several at various times and they are scattered on 3 different cameras, so I will try to put a few together at least of the rear brakes instelled and the master installed. In the mean time I have calipers and rotors as well as the 3/4" master cylinder I'll sell as a package deal if anyone wants to do their own update. Anybody at the International is more than welcome to try them out if you want. Next project, upgrasding the front brakes to R1's and 14mm master cylinder and ss lines, but probably not until this October...
  9. Well, congratulations Dano, I guess. Yup, I sure bet you had mixed emotions about it! I'm having a hard time parting with Goldie, have even considered triking it...
  10. Just prayed for you! Whatever is God's will...

  16. Hmmm, yes it does say FLIES!!! Yuop, lysdexic...
  17. Yah! That's my feelings too! The Voyager kit leaves a little to be desired especially in the turning department. Reminds me of the old trucker song "Gimme 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around!" There is a learning curve with trikes, do NOT lean, twist the handlebars back and forth to steer, and expect G forces when taking curves. Ride down the center of the lane, etc. What I want to know is how did a 72 year old manage to find a 39 year old wife!! Is she hot???
  18. Depends on who has the files, the FBI, your doctor, the school board... Unless you are talking about tools, then put your files back in the tool drawer!
  19. Not having the problems you describe, but a couple of times it has taken a while to load the page. If I close IE and come back it's OK...
  20. Well, you don't need the weatherman to know it's HOT outside!!! Today I did a complete brake job on the wife's Monte Carlo to include new pads, rotors, and hardware in 90+ degree heat. Thank God for air tools!!! Took a break after each wheel by coming inside and enjoying the air conditioning, we have it set for 70 degrees inside. I also have ice cold water, soda pop and iced tea and of course beer!! We are spending our evenings outdoors and put a fan inside the gazebo and watch TV ouit there! So, the questuion is, what are you doing on these hot days and how are you keeping cool??
  21. Try jumpering all three wires together and see if the bike keeps running. Word of warning, with all 3 wires tied together you can start the bike IN GEAR so make absolutely positively sure you are in neutral before starting. If you ohm out your switch, one set is NC and the other set is NO and for each position the contacts, when closed, should read almost zero ohms. I had one that was bad that the continuity read around 8 ohms, and even that slight amount of contact resistance will make the circuit malfunction...
  22. Prayers sent! I've never had a blowout on a bike but it would seem as, like a car, it is better to have a blowout on the front as you can keep the steering under better control than if the rear has a blowout. Ask Squidley about blowouts, he and Lonna were very lucky...
  23. As Forest Gump said, "Stupid is as stupid does..."
  24. Yup! Had then Diamond R and they are nice but didn't like the way they swung out, so I went with the Carbon One ones which swing up!!!
  25. Oh Oh!! They're gonna stick what WHERE??? You won't feel a thing! The best part is blowing it out your a$$ after it's all over...
