  4. Make changing the tire proirity 1!!! You should never use a tire more than 6 years old according to the tire manufacturers! A few tears ago there was a TV program on the subject where Sears was selling older new tires and a few people lost their lives from blowouts caused from older tires. Every tire has a date code stamped on it, the first 2 numbers are the year of manufacture, and the second 2 are the week of the year...

  22. Do you have a GPS on the bike?? If so where is it wired, across the battery or on the ignition switch?? I found out the hard way do not wire it across the battery, it will drain it within a week...
  23. Yes, more of a problem getting back into the states than into Canada. Border guards are usually on some power trip and look to provoke you with their attitude. It's a ploy to weed out the troublemakers by having them be beligerant. Just keep cool and answer whatever question they ask but avoid social chit chat and you're in!It's pretty much citizenship, where ya been, where ya goin, and anything to declare. Do not bring food across the border such as fruits, vegetables, or meat. Also, as Gary N.stated, absolutely no firearms unless you want to recdeive free accomodations for a long period of time...
  24. Here's a link to the service manuals... http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3384
  25. Hi and welcome!! CLASS is Computer Leveling Air Suspension System only available on the Royale. It is a computerized controller module mounted on the dash that controlls an air pump mounted under the trunk that adds or removes air pressure to the front and rear shocks. It is wired so that it is operational only in the ACC position of the ignition switch. I've forgotten exactly what the letters of YICS but what it does is to act as a vacuum storage box that tends to keep the vacuum balanced between the 4 carbs. It is a black box with 4 vacuum lines coming to it. They can develop leaks either from the lines or the box itself so many members have removed the system and capped off the lines. There is an excellent description of how it works in the service manual (which is available here in the read only tech section of the forums) but it is one of those things that works great in thoery but in reality doesn't really do that much...
