That's something that would be useful. A parts interchangeability chart or database. It would be nice to know what parts we could use off different models on our bikes.
-
Yea, If you keep the front wheel on the ground. That would be my problem.

Yep, It does leave a mark. Ran into a tree like that once. It was dark at the time though and the cops was right behind us:doh:.... Even pulled some bark outta my young forehead that time.

I maybe wrong but what I have always thought "political correctness" is is partially party related and then the use of certain words or phrases. Personally I don't try to be politically correct since I'm not a politician.. I remember in HS going thru Language and Human Behavior. Three subjects that were taboo and two are mentioned by Don. Why are they taboo ? Its ones ideals and beliefs against anothers ideals and beliefs. So its like feelings against feelings in some cases. Another reason to avoid such discussions on a forum as this is you can't read tone very well. Talking face to face with someone people are generally much more cautious about what they will say or do than what they type on a keyboard. Anyway, What's important, this is a great bunch of people in general and that's why most of us hang out here day, after day, after day.

CB Squelch setting ?
BuddyRich replied to royalstar09's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
CB is Short-Range radio. 1 to 2 miles is about average for intelligible and reliable conversations. I'm usually around 16 to 18 on the squelch. -
Right turn signal acting up
BuddyRich replied to Moakster's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Did you put an 1157 in it ? Seems I remember something about having to cut one of the tits off for it to fit properly since the oem bulb had three tits on it. Mine are LEDs that's why I say "seem to remember ". -

BuddyRich replied to Blue Giant's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)

305 Chev - Boat I/O - I could use some help.
BuddyRich replied to GolfVenture's topic in Watering Hole
I had a 2000 Chris Craft with the 305 in it. Same thing. Finally replaced the safety switch. That's what it turned out to be. Just jumper the switch leads to test it. What was happening was that is was intermittent from wear or the constant spring pressure. -
You been driving around my house again ?:rotf:

I found the problem. Delco (GM)parts on a Ford...DUH.... . Good luck, Had an 84 Town Car that would die while driving down the road. Found it was the Ign module. They replaced 2 of them over a 3 year period before fixing it for good.

Having lived in CA for 22 years I can say. They are really good burgers.

Overdriving an amp will cause clipping of the signal. Speakers don't clip a signal.

rear fender assembly askew
BuddyRich replied to Scout6's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I had a similar issue. Pushed the mounting brackets around (lossened all the bolts) till everything was back straight. -
