    I am trying to get Outlook 2010 trial version set up so I can transfer my old email & contacts to Thunderbird. I have outlook running, Windows 7 Pro version, Avast Internet virus software. I can get to the point where it is sending test mail, but then it just sits there. I have tried shutting down avast & explorer firewall, but no change. Screen shots attached below. Any suggestions? Gary

    Ok folks last week my pc crashed and I had to replace it with a new tower. I had a Outlook 2003 program on it for my e-mails. Due to replacing the pc tower I had to upgrade to Outlook 2010. (no cd disc for the Outlook 2003 program). So now I'm starting back to 0 on my contact list. If you want me to have your e-mail ady then send me a short note with your address and I'll put ya in my address book.     Lone Eagle and I have had this email problem for several months now and haven't been able to figure out what causes it. I can send or forward emails to Vic, and he receives them just fine, but when he tries to reply using OUTLOOK..not Outlook Express.. the reply disappears into cyber space. He can go to his ISP email account and send me a copy email and I get it.. no problem. So it seems to be a problem somewhere between his local OUTLOOK program and his ISP, and it's a PITA. BTW all other email addresses go through fine. Does anyone know what might cause this?? I thought I might be on the 'bad guy' list, but he's checked that out, and I'm not. I use Outlook Express, and don't have a clue about Outlook controlls.

    1. Gasoline prices fall 2. Stock Market goes up 3. Health,Wealth, and Prosperity for all 4. More riding time in 08 5. Hunting and Fishing outlook is good 6. Nothing but smooth sailing and good times ahead. I might as well say something good. Everybody else is forecasting the worst.:bighug:

    Is anyone using Outlook 2003? I'm looking for this and the code. I was told that the calendar will syncronize with my phone.
