  5. But the voices in your head are much more fun. Well, at least mine are:rotf: The Zumo's pop up with "answer" that gives you time to switch to aux if your on FM. Don't know if your gonna get an alert tone or not though. Did you put a splitter in for the line out while you have the fairing open ? My cable doesn't include the audio out to AUX, I just say that cause I have had a couple of people ask me.

  8. Had a Nomad before I went to the Venture. Totally different machines. But you'll love winding it out in 2nd to about 45 mph then especially in 3rd. When you hit 90 mph in 3rd and shift you will have left almost every other bike way back somewhere. If you can't beat them in third your probably not gonna. When you hit the rev limit it will sputter and the oil light will flash.

  20. Don't know if you can raise it that much or not. If you scraping the mufflers too your about 1 degree of angle from losing control cause the rear wheel came off the ground. I don't really know if they make a kit to raise it . Did you check Baron's ?
  21. Boomers chasin loose pygmies probably. Like others have said, welcome to the site. Its lots of fun here. We all kinda try to help each other the best we can. Sounds like your off to a good start. Hang around, Its gets even more interesting sometimes.
  22. Its probably in one of Don's programs. He does pretty good for an amateur but by no means is he a professional programmer. He'll figure it out though. Gotta remember he does this sites programming all himself. We expect a few snafus every now and then:whistling:.
  23. Ah, You close to Houston. Those guys down there are sharp and I'm sure one of them will jump in here pretty quick. You might have to feed them though.
  24. That white cable starts out at 6' also. I cut it down since the mic cable is 6'. Let me know if you need a custom and I will cut them to the size you need. That mic lead is a 2.5mm. Just let me know if your unit needs a 3.5 or a 2.5mm. All the Garmins use a 2.5mm. Jack, You ain't installed it yet? I ain't coming back....
  25. I have an E2 on the back with only a thousand miles on it so I was just thinking ahead. I'll drop the thoughts about the MT66 on the rear then.May go with a Metz on the next rear.Had them on the Nomad and they were pretty good tires.
