If you make really good beer, you may find a member to pay for your Ultimate Garage.

1/4"/ft. is what most slabs require. If you get less than that you will have ponding since it is hard to get the fininsh that close and still keep fall. I spent nearly 50 years in heavy highway construction.

I have run BUBs since new and they are burned out but sound great. They are not obnoxious and they don't bother my ears so I love them.

No way do I want to get into the fray. This is my only experience with speakers. I changed the front and rear on a friends Venture with J&M 40watt speakers since the originals were tore up. I then changed the front on another friends Venture with J&M 40 watt speakers. They both like the sound and have not had any problem with blown speakers. I don't know anything about RMS or impedence or DC or AC. They just work.

I just ordered a Bell shorty helmet from Competition Accessories and would like to know if anyone has anything to say about them. My Fulmer shorty has fit well but is needing to be changed due to age. I bought a Scorpion last fall but it fits terrible. For the $50+change to get the Bell (includes freight) I thought I would give it a try. I used Bell helmets in the 60's for drag racing and motorcycles but I am sure they are owned out of this country by now.

Lower tree bearing question

Do it yourself. Go to the tech articles and get a printout. It is not a simple job but can be done. -
OK, I guess I am the oldest. Gas...$0.17, cokes...$0.05, didn't smoke so can't say.

Well said. I always have a spare set of D404 WWW on hand so I have no down time. I get 12k+ from them and they come in handy in a pinch. My very good amigo stopped by about six weeks ago and visited. He has an 07 Midnight and I looked at his rear tire. It was not going to make Rolling Thunder 2011 a couple weeks later. I had him bring in the shop and I changed both tires and used Dyna Beads. I also lubed the splines and pins with Moly 60 (both dry). He called me when he got home and said the bike never felt better and it was very smooth. He now is addicted to the wide white walls. I get my tires from Jake Wilson and they provide free shipping and the best prices.

I was there in the late 70's and my wife, baby daughter and son thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We spent two days there and I have often commented that I would love to go back. Greenfield Village is such a unique spot!

Lil emergency crisis here! Maybe some help with info.
Sylvester replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Watering Hole
Ain't that the truth, Bubber. We had our fortieth wedding anniversary yesterday and my daughter commented on my lack of remembering things. I told her "it won't be long and I won't remember you, so you better visit more often so I can keep your face in my mind." -

I lost contact with my daughter 11 years ago while she was driving back from college (Greeneville, NC) to our home in Wilmington, NC. She told me she was leaving and wanted to get home since there were hurricane warnings along the line from Charleston, SC to Elizabeth City, NC. I kept calling, etc. My wife and I were absolutely bonkers from worry until she drove up to the house. Yes, she got hugs, kisses, and more to them. Then I jumped on her about why I gave her a cell phone and she wouldn't answer it. Very politely she told me that she was only to use the phone for emergencies (my orders) and she did not have and emergency. That was when cell phones were expensive. God I love her, and she taught me well. -
I find that adding 2 oz. of dyna beads works perfect, so I quit bothering with my balancer.

Met a fellow at a station along I-85 this morning while getting a soda. He was riding a 2001 Venture. Struck up a conversation and he is a member here. His handle is Pick and he lives in Georgia. I told him I would give a shout out on the site.

Being from the Cornhusker state, I have always worn western boots. Justins and H&H are my more favorite. -
