  1. The bars look like they are off a RSTD. I put these on my Venture and got more width and pull back. I had to get longer (+2") throttle cables to make them work.
  2. My favorite is the "drink butler". It holds a thirty two ounce mug. It is all carbon plastic and you can easily remove the holder portion from the rest. This is their site. www.glassact.com
  3. I took mine off six years ago, polished them with a drill with a buff on it and used rouge, they only take a bit of polish once a year to make them brighter than chrome. Not hard work at all and they look great.
  4. Tell me how when you get it working like you want it. Also where do the US maps with color-in capabilities come from?
  5. How does the Stebel compare to the Rivco? They are only 6-9 decibels different. I have had the Rivco for six years and they move traffic just fine.
  6. You will not be dissapointed with a RSV. I bought mine in 02 and the dealer and Yamaha have always taken care of any problem under the warranty. After seven years and 100k miles, it runs like a fine Swiss watch. But remember, you should only buy what you want. Another option is a used RSV, with remaining factory warranty. You will save plenty and still have more warranty than any other new bike.
  7. My Metzler problem was a front tire, it had bulges on it. Tookit off and the belts had broken, just a matter of time before it desintegrated. Now I have Dunlop 404's.
  8. I installed the turn signals on a friends RSV, the amber is drowned out with the red. Wound up taking them off and installing Radianz turn signals on the rear.
  9. When mine went out in 04, I did the relay routine for the pass lights. I have never had another problem and there is no heat reflected from the ign. switch, ever.
  10. I saw Mr. T's 99 Venture at Star Days in 05 and he was just nearing 200k at that time. I have just under 100k on my 02 RSMV.
