That was very well said. Could you write one for my anniversary this coming Sunday, it is our 40th? Just make it like yours only add a lot more years. Then I will copy/paste it to WORD and sign it. It will make the rest of our life together better.

Finally got it to work, I met him last year (RT 2010) at a Star Touring event. Very nice young Marine and has no airs about him. This is his passion!

I am sorry but that video would take 30+ minutes watch.

Head bearing - starting to stick.

Since your profile shows a Gen 1, I can't say. But it is mostly about the fairing removal, etc. Go to the tech articles and do a search, you will find all you need there. -
I worked all weekend at a medical practice removing carpeting and installing new. My father's day is next weekend on our 40th wedding anniversary, June 26.

To me this is a great choice. I changed my stock Bridgestones after 3000 miles to D-404 and other than a set of Metzler tires (which the belts separated), I have run nothing but D-404 for 143,000 miles. They grip great and wear reasonbly well (9-11K+) and I change them myself and I use Dyna Beads for balance. That is all I have to say about that! PS I can buy them shipped to my door from Jake Wilson for $203.98

Prices on rear shock

I liked your reply! -
How do you store mc tires? Do you store them on their side or on the tread? I got a heck of a deal on two Dunlop D-404WWW, so I bought them. They were made in early Dec. 2010 and I won't install them until next fall. They are covered with a tire plastic with elastic in the center to keep it fairly tight. I will not put them in the garage attic due to heat, but will leave them on ground level.

It could hurt a lot worse if you DON'T try. This will keep your bike out of the shop more than you could imagine.

Not in the proper order but here you go: PCW Racing clutch upgrade Throttle Boss II on both left and right grips passing lights all LED other lighting leveling links from Diamond R Ponch's gauge kit in place of cassette player Baron mini tach Kuryakin grips and highway pegs Diamond R third brake light (LED) JC Whitney LED reflectors in lieu of stock reflectors Gerbing heated jacket and gloves leather seats with gel pads under the skins There is more but I can't think right now.

Great Post. :clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2: -
I took my 7 year old Yuasa out last spring and installed a Deka, because I was worried about being on the side of the road. I put the Yuasa in a trail mower this spring and it is running great. Go figure!

You need to find out why the oil is enough to get on the pads. You may have blow by and need to give attention to that issue. Yes I get some oil on the tire but never on the pads or rotor.

How Many Miles Before Your RSV Clutch Slipped?
Sylvester replied to OB-1's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Mine never slipped but I put a new stock spring in at 38K miles and then put in a PCW complete kit at 128K miles. The spring is all you need for yours and it is a very simple procedure. The discs on my clutch at 128K were still in spec. I changed them so I would not have to for another 100K.- 12 replies

I only wave if I recognize the other rider. I don't know when this all started but I have been riding 52 years and nobody did this until maybe the nineties. I have plenty to do just keeping my eyes moving on the road and surroundings and hankling my motorcycle.

Thanks, I talked to Classic Components in Santa Anna, CA and if I send my spare set of wheels they will do it for $600 for the set. A local chromer swears by their work. He does commercial chroming but will send wheels to these people.
-
Has anyone done or know of someone chroming the stock RSV wheels? I would like to do this to mine, but would like some feedback. I am not interested in aftermarket wheels.

Where did all those people come from? And all those dogs, and all those motorcycles?

Sylvester replied to AKRefugee's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Ponch is correct but I would suggest a relay.
