  1. We recently spent $2500 on a young Black Angus bull. We put him out with the herd but he just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow. I was beginning to suspect he was gay, if that's possible with a bull. Anyhow, I had the Vet come have a look at him. He said the bull was very healthy, but possible a little young, so he gave me some pills to feed him once per day. Holy crap! The bull started to service the cows within two days. All of my cows! He even broke through the fence and bred all my neighbor's cows! He's been breeding just about everything in sight. He's like a machine!" I don't know what in hell was in the pills the Vet gave him but they kind of taste like peppermint.
  2. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between Macs and Jardines? I bought the bike with aftermarket pipes that are just a bit too loud for my taste. I installed pipes from a Harley to take the "bark" out and can't find any identifying marks on aftermarket pipes. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Any bluegrass fans here? My favorite is Railroad Earth. The Fabulous Stringdusters are pretty good too. I am an old Hendrix/Zeppelin era guy but still like country and Jazz. I have really gotten a taste for Bluegrass the last few years.
  4. For those of you that have been to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, you may know that they have their own winery and do tours of the winery and give taste tests. Well, to maybe add to the culture of the early Asheville folks and especially since we had twelve bottles of homemade wine, we had a wine and cheese tasting session. What made this even better was Woody (SylWoody)and his wife Katrina brought some really good tasting wine, and I mean really good tasting. It really started out nicely in being able to taste the richness of the flavors and compare one particular wine against another. But unfortunately, after a few samples, I believe we may have lost some of the tasting abilities as I think some of our taste buds begin to loose their effectiveness. It was also a bit of a problem as some seemed to not have any interest at all in tasting any of the cheese. So, any way, I thought I would post some pictures in this endeavor to add some class to this group, but I am not sure how effective this was. RandyA
  5. Just thought some of you might like to know how things are in Venture land UK. Well the weather the last few days has been fine and sunny with not a cloud in the sky, nor any planes or con trails for that matter! It’s surprising just how many we usually see here in the south-east of Kent (Gatwick and Heathrow traffic mainly). Rather odd then that you only notice they are not there when you think about it. The high altitude volcanic ash cloud that has covered almost all of our area shows itself by spectacular sunsets and all the muck on your car. If you do not wash the ash off every day it transforms into very fine clay eventually becoming like axle grease to get off! You can also sometimes taste it as acrid along with a sore throat. The RSV is tucked away safe until this thing blows over, I don’t fancy getting this stuff in my carbs. Amazing how a little old volcano can paralyse a country like this. Cheers all PS the above was a bit late getting on to this site. Since then the ash has gone, for the moment......!
  6. Maybe the cagers would see ya on this one. Give them a taste of their own medicine! http://www.zapworld.com/electric-vehicles/electric-scooters/zappy-3-ez

The season opened today. 2. There is no limit. 3. They taste just like chicken. 4. They don't like beer, pickups, country music or Jesus.5. They are directly responsible for the death of Dale Earnhardt. The Pentagon expects the problem in Iraq to be over by Friday.
  8. Why Don't eggs taste like chicken??
  9. So I stepped outside at work today to have a smoke. I noticed fluid puddled around my front tire and automatically thought, Brake fluid. DANG!!! I stooped down and started looking; but coulden't see where it was coming from. It was on the wheel and both sides of the tire. I started to run my finger through it for a "texture feel" test. I have even been known to do a "taste" test. But, at the last second before touching the "fluid" Something in the back of my mind told me to stop. Then it came to me. One of our truck drivers had arrived a few minutes before, and Jake, his little male dog was running loose on the property. I checked the brake feel of the hand and the foot brake for confirmation and they worked well without any further "leakage". Sure am glad i didn't try that "taste" test ! !
