  1. I believe that they are fighting back for their territory. I never approach a fallen deer without a round in the chamber and a bead on its head. Them animals can come alive very quickly.
  2. Merry Christmas back at you and welcome to the site.
  3. Why is there so much floor space around your two bikes? I have to move a lot of ^*#% just to get mine into the garage.
  4. Now I know what to do with the coffee can full of old plugs. Some are out of my 66 year old ford tractor so they must be collector items.
  5. Put the two springs in it and forget it. I did this for a friend three years ago without any problem. I would put in a new gasket though.
  6. Here in NC we don't have the stickers anymore. The inspection is on a web at the state and the officer/deputy/trooper accesses it online or on the radio. I love this since I don't have to clean the sticky stuff off.
  7. I have a Kumho (used) to mount on my rear wheel, thanks to Mike G in SC. It will be mounted soon and installed on my 02 RSMV w/ Hannigan Classic sidecar. I will start out at 44 psi and work with that +/-. Best I can give you, it is always a trial and error.
  8. I use an AK 47 for varments, deer, and target. Works great all the time without pumping or CO2 cartridges.
  9. I am at a loss for this. Did you loosen the bleed valve 1/2 turn minimum? Make sure you have a bleed hose on the valve. Other than that you may have a bad clutch slave cylinder. Was the clutch working before your attempt to change the fluid?
  10. Congratulations! You have made the top of the hill and the rest of your journey is a coast down hill. My wife, Jana, and I celebrated our 40th last June. I couldn't imagine my life without her.
  11. Maybe you should let them in. They may like the place and become bikers.
  12. I am happy for her. If I made a reservation to cruise on the ship, is there enough room to lap the boat on my RSV?
  13. Jana and I looked for ten years and while sitting in a doctor's waiting room I was reading a rag out of boredom and found an ad for property. Sounded interesting and I made an appointment for the next day. To shorten a long story, we wrote a check for the land the day we saw it. Had everything we wanted and now our house has been built and we have four happy years living here now. The hunting is a big plus.
  14. I got mine yesterday in the delivery. WOOO HOOO :clap2::clap2:
  15. Already been posted.
  16. NO! You need to be back farther. The Carbon One lift is what you need. This adapter allows you to balance the bike and raise it to the limit of the jack. I have had a Sears jack for years but it would only lift the front of my Venture and I would use a floor jack on the rear. With the Carbon One it is a piece of cake to change tires (front and rear) and pull the drive shaft plus other maintenance issues.
  17. I know little about 1st gen, but why fix something that ain't broken?
  18. Me neither.
  19. What's a Dongle?? I believe it is the opposite of a dangle! Sylvester who hasn't a clue.
  20. Depends on the date of the filming of the show. I have been to the dragon many times with my 02 RSMV.
  21. I got caught in an early storm in October of 71. I was heading north on hwy 75 and hit flakes north of Topeka, KS. By the time I got to Auburn, NE it was really bad. I had no choice because I was out of money and I knew that my mother would have hot food for me if I made it to Omaha. I looked pretty weird riding my Triumph Bonneville with both feet on the ground for skis, but I made it home. Never again!
  22. We are fine in Bessemer City, NC nothing exciting happens here.
  23. The only post here that I understood was Marcarl everything else is HUUUUHHHH.
  24. I have installed both PCW and Barnett clutches for mayself and friends. I personally prefer the PCW but it is whatever floats your boat. They are both great upgrades. You will not need new plates or friction plates. I have never seen either of these out of spec. If you get the PCW, it eliminates the half clutch at the rear of the basket and you don't have to worry about that @$#% spring in the back.
