I went to Ace today, but what they sell is not what I have. Mine are ten years old +/- and don't look like what you all have informed me about. I will try Yamaha dealers and then I may have to replace all of them to make it look right. I took pictures of what I have but I can't get close enough to the spots to make them come out right without distorting the image. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks guys? My searches were coming up blank. Playboy, forget the pm I sent.
-
If you found them at J&P, please tell me what you searched for. I cannot get them to come up for me and not at JC Whitney either.

Thanks but not what I am looking for. What I have is a spring loaded center that pinches the sides of the allen socket and locks in. They only have a thin chrome layer on top.

Back in 01 when I bought my 02 RSMV you could buy little chrome spots (as I remember) and insert them into allen hex socket bolts to dress it up. Over the years some have disappeared and I went to look for them online and nothing comes up. Anyone have a link for these. I need them in the 5mm allen hex size and a couple in the 8mm size.

Thank you for attending to honor this fallen hero. Now that you have broken the ice, so to speak, you will attend many more. I have been a member since the early start of PGR and have assembled many times. Remember that you can not make all of them, so don't beat on yourself for missing some.

The horn cover was sold by Baron's and may still be. I have one on my 02 RSMV. The wheel rings I haven't seen before.

Now I remember...one of them was named Rick, I think. Tough getting old and then the dementia sets in.

Happy to see new blood on the site. You will learn much from the site and meet lots of members on site and at events. There are a couple of members to watch out for, but I can't think of them right now.

More horse hockey. I have used Wix/NAPA filters in my 02 RSMV for 140k miles and I will continue to use them.

Do You Have a Spare Ignition Module for RSV?
Sylvester replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
As a back up, I have one also from my 02 RSMV. Hasn't been used in nine years and you are welcome to it. -
How clean I am is a matter of interpretation, but as of right now I am sober.

Keep up the positive attitude for it will do more for your cancer than the doctors can. I am a survivor of twenty nine years and the attitude works. I am and will keep praying for your success beating this disease.

Tire rotation is backwards
Sylvester replied to hydraulicman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I am not sure Cougar. I believe that they do the reverse rotation on rear tires mounted on the front. I have been wrong before, though. -
Tire rotation is backwards

Horse hockey! There is nothing wrong with the D404. I have run 130k miles on nothing but Dunlop D404s and I get better than 10k on the rear and 15k on the front. Run what you like but don't bad mouth a good tire just because you would rather spend more. -
Race Tech Front Suspension - thoughts?
Sylvester replied to DanOh's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I have had the Baron's gold emulators in my forks since 2005 and love them. I just change the fluid when needed and off I go. They really dampen the ride better than just the springs. I have over 150k miles also. Never have had to replace the springs. -
I still have my money since I never bought a ticket. I guess I am a bigger winner than most of you.

I am afraid to touch this post even with a ten foot pole. I will let braver men/women than me take this one.

I have a client with the same problem only white. I told her that the best thing is to replace it with a modern stainless steel sink. Easily purchased for around $100. I will install it Friday.

I have a fear that all will turn out...OK. And that scares me, what with all this advice.
