Now that is the start of my riding. Actually I had a turtle top Cushman in 1959 and then an Eagle. What fun they were. A Honda 50 would out run them though.

I received lots of love from my wife, son, daughter, son in law, brother in law, sister in law and five rescue dogs. That made my Christmas fantastic. Oh yes, and way too much food. burp

I assume from this information that the fram doesn't support a flux capacitor. Sad to know that the evolution of power transfer has left the f/c dead in its tracks.

Thank you, and may everybody have a Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year. I expect that I will enjoy the Christmas season.

I have the WHEEL DOCK which has served me very well. Ride the bike into the chock, trip the lock with your left foot and climb off the bike. It will stay there and then you can strap it down.

It would be a load for the trailer hitch. I haven't seen a trailer hitch for a motorcycle rated for a 2" ball. Quite a load even if it had electric brakes I would be hard pressed to pull it. Think about the weight, it would be like pulling you and your wife/girl friend plus six or more others.

I use gasolene but I could switch the generator over to propane since I have a 500 gallon tank. I leave it with the gasolene since I can use it in my remodeling and roofing business that I have. In NC we really don't have a lot of need for the generator but some times the power fails. Now up in the mountains in NC, they need good generators and most use instant on like Generac.

Rainy warm (64 degree day) and the power went out. Now that is not a good thing normally, bbbuuuttt it was good to get the generator out and use it for a few hours to make sure all is good before real winter comes. It started right up thanks to the Seafoam I keep in the system and I am confident that it will work fine for any future emergencies. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. :snow2: Like we get snow in souther NC.

Run what you like but keep in mind the clutch only likes certain oils and by looking at posts for three years there are few that come up as the perfect. Amsoil seems to hit the top of the list along with Mobil 1 and some others. I use Castrol Syntech blend and it works for me.

I never heard of them but that is not unusual for me. I am glad you are happy with them.

1969 Topeka KS wet then snow and heading to Omaha NE. Blizzard conditions at Nebraska line and I am riding a Triumph Bonneville. Made Omaha and slept for twenty hours. Thought my feet were frozen but made it OK. This was in October. NEVER AGAIN.

I can't imagine the pain that your situation causes. I look around and am thankful that there is a roof over and a floor under, but given circumstances it could all change quickly. Put you self in God's hands and maybe you will get some relief. He has made differences in my life when I asked for help.

Mine wants to go for a ride and I plan on that tomorrow for "Toys for Tots".

I agree. You would need a lot of drain to qualify for this procedure. I have installed a half dozen of them for friends but I have the original. I run heated jacket and gloves in the winter without any problem. LED lights cut much of the use of amps and there are LED headlights now available and they are getting better. Sealing the leads and soldering the connections is a PITA to get right.

I built my own smoker over twenty years ago out of 3/8" oil well pipe (new of course). It has served me well fo all these years. I smoke my brisket for two hours and then move it into the house oven at 225 degrees. I leave a thermometer in the brisket until it hits 190 degrees and then wrap it in foil and leave it in an insulated cooler for two hours. Perfectly done every time. The use of rubs and marinade are left to choice. Now I am hungry.

I liked it Mike. I will send that on to my e-mail list just for fun.

I will be attending the event in Salisbury, NC tomorrow. God bless all our service people both past and present.

My selling company did all the foundation for the house and garage on property I had purchased. I did the site grading and finish grading after the house was set. I also built the garage on the foundation that their people constructed. I had the well and septic contractors do their part. All in all it was simple. Keep in mind that I have spent fifty years in heavy, civil and marine construction. I have contacts that provided the bulldozer at no cost, but everything else was on my dime. The house far outclasses stick built home in the area. That plus I have a nice setup on 7.5 acres for under $300K including the garage.

I purchased a modular factory built home over four years ago. It is 3300 sf including the upstairs. It was built with 2x6 exterior walls and is fully insulated. My first year electric bill had the highest bill of $119.00 and that was summer use with the airconditioner on. I use propane for heat and hot water. I finished the upstairs attic complete with bathroom, bedroom, closets and sitting room. I am happy I did this since my wifes brother and his wife now live up there. I am very satisfied and would recommend a factory built home to anyone, but you need to find the best you can since they are not all alike.
