Up date on our little vaction. we're not in DC anymore. Museums were getting boring, so we followed the sun shine. Lets just say temps were near 80 yesterday:rasberry:. Bad news, we have to head back later today.

Rainy warm (64 degree day) and the power went out. Now that is not a good thing normally, bbbuuuttt it was good to get the generator out and use it for a few hours to make sure all is good before real winter comes. It started right up thanks to the Seafoam I keep in the system and I am confident that it will work fine for any future emergencies. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. :snow2: Like we get snow in souther NC.

I think I might have found my comfort limit for riding in the cold. This morning for the 1 hour ride to work it was 38°F and I got to work before sunrise. Tomorrow morning it is supposed to be in the low 30s or high 20s, I'll give it one more chance, but I will get out my big orange Gortex hunting coat and bibs. Not sure yet what I will use for gloves, If I get much heavier than what I wore today (my fingers were cold and numb) I do not know if it will impair my ability to operate the buttons safely. I know that I can easily dress warm for my feet and body, it is only my hands that seem to be the issue. The bike was not to thrilled with the temps either but I'll start another thread for that. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=527159#post527159 Its a comin!

Well here I am in Canada snow on the ground, bike back in arkansa,Teri back in Arkansas and boy am I home sick. I cant wait to go home tomorrow I keep putting my shoes together and saying theres no place like home but it not working.
