while riding in 5th gear if I roll the throttle too hard the clutch will begin to slip, My question is how difficult is it to replace the friction discs in this bike is it something a person with regular ability can do? about how long does it take? or should I have it sent in to a shop. Bike is a 84 xvz12. -

So it would appear that the right channel of my amp is toast. Would anyone have a 1st Gen amp they would be willing to part with at a reasonable price? (I have thought about buying a complete new system and trashing the whole stock radio but I am stuck on having the ability to go to headset anytime I like and having GPS Bluetooth phone capabilities, thanks to my Buddy Rich cable. I partly blame Buddy Rich for my dilemma. ) Thanks, Thomas

I think I might have found my comfort limit for riding in the cold. This morning for the 1 hour ride to work it was 38°F and I got to work before sunrise. Tomorrow morning it is supposed to be in the low 30s or high 20s, I'll give it one more chance, but I will get out my big orange Gortex hunting coat and bibs. Not sure yet what I will use for gloves, If I get much heavier than what I wore today (my fingers were cold and numb) I do not know if it will impair my ability to operate the buttons safely. I know that I can easily dress warm for my feet and body, it is only my hands that seem to be the issue. Anyone here using a netbook and have an opinion on them? I'd like to get one for trips on my MC. I'm taking a 2 week trip in Oct and I'd rather not lug around my 17 inch laptop. I won't need a writing program or anything special. Just the ability to surf the net.

Looking to find a trailer to put my dog in for trips. Seen the WAGS trailers ( do not like enclosed trailer idea) and am trying to locate one I have seen in use. It looked to be like a small sidecar and it may have been converted that way. I'm a disabled vet so my ability to fabricate or have one built isn't possible. So, if anyone know of one please let me know. Thanks, JW

I just was informed i have testify at the motion hearing friday........ugggh maybe in a way this is good as it will give me a little pre-experience when the trial comes, but i have always had the ability to get myself all worked up and turned into a basket case.. Nuff said...........
