    They have probably run out of old Ventures to repaint and sell as new. I, for one, do not see a Venture as we know it in the future. The name may be reused but not the mechanics in an altered form.

    If you need the trailer to haul all the investments just let me know. It is a great trailer and I thank you for letting me buy it. I am so glad that you are OK. Concrete trucks are nothing to mess with.

    Thank you. Well said and I know where you are at right now. I have seen so many of my closest friends leave here and go to Rainbow Ridge. I only hope that I am worthy to be there with them later. I now am down to five rescue dogs and hope that they out live me.

    If you have never had Texas BBQ, you need to try it. I make my brisket of beef for almost three days. Well marinated and rubbed and left to soak. Slow cook in smoker for many hours. Let sit in insulatied box for more hours and then enjoy. FANTASTIC!

    I only run 5th gear over 65 mph. I get mid forty for mileage. When you lug these engines they burn more fuel than normal.

    I believe the years of attacks on Tweety made by Sylvester caused Tweety to go into attack mode. Glad you are alright.

    I get bills for someone else from a Missouri gas utility every month by mail. I opened the one I got yesterday and they are going to disconnect the service. I called the number and informed them that they are sending bills to North Carolina for someone in Missouri. The lady I talked to said "Oh, s#$^" and told me they would correct the problem. I started getting these bills two months ago.

    You need to raise the front and spin the tire with your hand on it. Feel for bulges. Then do the same for the rear tire. Metzlers are notorious for this. I never usen them, anymore.

    Exactly what my RSMV did when I had Metzler tires on it. The front tire had a brken belt in it.

    I have ridden the Vission and Cross Country Tourer a number of times. To me the Vision is a perfect distance riding machine. The Cross Country Tourer is nearly as perfect for the same riding. For me, I can't get used to the Vision's look. Therefore I would be more inclined to purchase the C C. BUUUUTTTT my 2002 RSMV is running like new since it only has a little over 150,000 miles on it, so I am not in the market for any new motorcycle at this time. :backinmyday:

    Had the same rearend problem on my 02 and the fix has worked for the last 150,000 miles. When they fix your pass lights, have them install a relay. This will prevent your ignition switch from overheating and giving up its soul. Trust me on this one. Or you will be posting about it later.

    Being originally form Nebraska (Omaha) the west part of the state is beautiful. I hunted the state and Colorado and Wyoming as a youger person. I now live in NC and don't think my 66 year old body wants any of the cold, snow, blizzard and ice I remember as a younger person.

    I can't make your day any better or worse, but I can tell you all about "skunked dogs". My five have all been skunked at different times in the last three years. Forget tomato juice since it doesn't work. Natures Own skunk smell remover works and so does Massengill douche.
