  1. Mirrors the performance of my 02 RSMV.
  2. Congratulations. I am very happy for you. :thumbsup2:
  3. You don't need equalizers for brake light, just turn signals.
  4. I have the Shadow Diamond that Rick mentioned. Sticks like glue to the rear of the bike and tracks perfectly. I love it.
  5. Hell, I nearly cut my left thumb off with a utility knife. Getting old and stupid is all part of life.
  6. I have installed the Barnett for friends and it works great, I have the V-max spring in my ride and it works fine. To each his own!
  7. Bump, Bump, Bump:farmer:
  8. Just use the rubber plug you pictured with a little silicone. My father was a heavy highway contractor with 2 way radios in most trucks. When they were ready to be replaced the rubber plug was used and no body complained.
  9. Another BUMP from a "fully retired" member.
  10. I would think that announcing the "money sent" would promote others to chip in and help out. But what would I know since I am fully retired.
  11. Money sent and I pray all works out well for Snaggletooth.

  15. NC requires a plate and it is a large one like an automobile would have.
  16. There are many STAR members on this site, and some take issue with your statement. Have you ever thought of the cost of a national meeting for as many people that STAR has, cost of the staff, cost of insurance, cost of advertising, cost of awards, cost of website and of course cost of a multitude of chapters? I know it is easy to think that all the money from groups goes to the head man, but that is not the case. Do you think all the tax money in the USA goes to Barrack Obama? Enough Said. Former National Officer for Star Touring and Riding Assc.
  17. I replace at 50-60K when changing tires.
  18. May the Good Lord watch after those injured and may He welcome those who died to His Kingdom.
  19. I believe that the .357 M and .38 Spcl. are perfect all around calibers. They are wildly popular therefore increasing the ammo price. I have my service revolver from the late 60'S which is a Colt Diamondback .38 Spcl. with 4" barrel. And I have two Model 19 S&W, in .357 M, one with 6" barrel and the other in 2.5. That being said, I have shot Taurus revolvers in the past and loved the actions. Go for it and enjoy.
  20. I feel for you and your family. Both my parents are gone and I was there for both of them at the end. I feel it was important to both of them that I and my sisters were there.
  21. NO! I go to bed @ 8:00 PM and get UP at 4:00 AM.
  22. Amen. Just listen to Road Dog XM/Sirius and see all the different answers from lawyers and administrators.
  23. I believe you meant to say Hagon instead of Hannigan. Hagon is respected by many but not as highly as the Works shock.
  24. Are we alike or what? I took my test in Omaha by Peony Park. Road around the parking lot, stopped at designated locations, pulled back to the office and got my endorsement. Can't remember the cost. Took it on my big bike also. My Honda 305 CL77 Scrambler. Date was May of 1963 0r 1964. [QUOsTE=Snaggletooth;750560]The first time I got my MC endorsment was here in Nebraska. Parked the bike on the street in front of the DMV. Went in and took the written test and passed. He told me to pull the bike around back and pull up under the window. He said "Stop under this window. When I wave at you drive to each corner of the lot and stop. When you've done each corner pulled back to this window and watch for me." He waved, I stopped at the four corners and pulled back up. He motioned for me to come inside. Passed! cost $5.00 for the MC stamp. It was soooooo hard. I took my "BIG BIKE" that day. My Honda 305 Dream.
  25. I for one applaud your patience. Happy for you.
