I have not seen any reverse options for a RSV. I have seen a triked RSV with an adapted reverse using an electric motor and a starter gear off an outboard motor. Sorry you are bedridden, hope you feel better soon.

Draining the water pump

I have in excess of 150K miles on my 02 RSMV and I have changed the coolant twice. Probably due for another change this winter, if I get around to it. -
I have the 6.7 diesel in my F-350 and love it.

My wife and I own two. A 2005 Explorer LTD with 135,000 miles. and a 2010 Mercury Mariner with 36,000 miles. No problem with either and they get very good gas mileage. The Mariner with the 6 speed transmission is better than the 2005 but not by much.

Get healthy soon. Prayers are on the way.

It is all because of Lucas electrical equipment. They were the worst for the British bikes.

Are you talking 1st generation or 2nd generation? If the latter go to www.DiamondR.com and get one of theirs. -
RSV rear wheel bearing question
Sylvester replied to 1BigDog's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
The spacer goes between the brake arm and the swing arm. If you don't place it there the brake arm will bind up. -
When you say manufactured homes are you talking about trailer homes or factory built homes that are set on the foundation? That is what I have here twenty miles west of Charlotte, NC. These are built with six inch walls and are heavily insulated.

East bound down Black Mountain is terrible. Three lanes and all of them doing well over the speed limit. I believe the big rigs are the safest on that stretch of I-40. Glad you are well.

Side car installation
Sylvester replied to Deadshort1's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
You will have a hard time getting the mounting hardware unless you find somebody in the know. Just mounting a used Hannigan sidecar cost me $700.00 and it had all the hardware...for a Harley Ultra. -
I don't see why you would need the conversion. Granted you have hurricanes like we do in NC, but unless you are looking for prolonged outages like our neighbors to the north, I would not see the need.

I wish I could help you but I have no knowledge of the 1st generation Ventures. You will receive a lot of good advise from the owners of the older machines. -
GW Trike Turn Signal/rear lighting issue

I would suspect the ground is bad like Ozlander stated. I had the same thing on my m/c trailer once and it was all due to the bad ground. -
Run it without the fuel pump. Run the hose from the tank to the carbs and disconnect the fuel pump from the power. Keep the tank 1/2 full or more.

Anyone remember their first shaft manipulation?
Sylvester replied to 1BigDog's topic in Watering Hole
My first "shaft manipulation" took about the same, under 1 minute. Never a doubt for me. But myabe I got lucky. The next three took the same. -
And we are heading in the same direction.

Was that from Alabama or Mississipi?

:clap2: I have the Carbon_one hitch and it is so easy to install and use.

They look like Dunlop treads, to me.
