That is a woman of my dreams...FOOD.

Don, My wife has many things she wants me to do. Could you give me your assistance? I try to find something more desirable like sharpening the mower blades.

They are using this technology on large 4wd construction equipment also.

Thanks to both you and Mike for recycling. Good project.

Having come from a construction background, I see some issues with this climb. I have worked at high altitudes while walking bridge girders at 450' +. In the 80s there were few tie off requirements. Today's safety would require 100% tie off. That would be a "tether cable" affixed to the tower and the climber would slide a safety line up the cable. If he fell the safety catch would engage and stop the fall. And there is no way I would climb that tower for any money. Then again I couldn't with my age and physical condition.

Same dealers that have no idea, since 2005 they have been speculating what is going to happen.

Sounds like Jerry Clower's joke about the Leadbetter family's truck and fire.

Most modern revolvers are DA/SA, but not all. Many semi automatics come with the DA first fire and then cock themselves for subsequent fire. The older style semi automatics, Colt .45-Browning .40, need to be cocked to make the first fire. All of these models can be carried with a round in the chamber.

I feel you did good. A 9mm is an excellent round and if it feels good and shoots good...that is all there is to say.

I can help you out. I thought my compressor was shot and got a new one, only to find out the lines were bad. I am on the road now and may not get home for a couple weeks, but I would send you the old compressor if that will work for you.

This all started for me in west Texas yesterday. Only difference was lots of rain and wind. I am transporting a 30' toy hauler to Prescott, AZ and the winds are terrible. Now in Santa Rosa, NM. Have blue skies and wind. Hope you all fair well.

After thinking about it, and considering my age and joint problems, I would buy something lighter. Not that the RSV isn't my favorite m/c, but just being practical. My 02 and I have been all over the country with many tens of thousands of miles. Sylvester has never let me down.

I heard the Massachusetts (spelling?) said all vehicles off roads by 4:00 PM. Seems drastic compared to my experiences of 24-36" blizzards in the 60's-70's in Omaha, NE. I am sure that the current government reaction is different than fifty years ago.
-
Great that you survived. I rode Mexico in the early 70s with a good friend. I will admit to being illegal as that we both carried hand guns. Even then there were banditos and lots of them. Heal quickly and enjoy the security of the USA.

And I thought I was going to win something.

I'm impressed. Looks very nice.

Are you looking for the pod that was made by Ponch? I think there may be a few around. The gauges are 1 1/2" (mini gauges), and are available from Auto Zone and others.

In a senior moment, last August I decided that I was bored and wanted purpose in my life. So I signed on with a transport company in Indiana delivering RV trailers to the US and Canada. Long story is that I left IN on Thursday and when I hit the freezing rain in Fargo, I pulled into a Super 8. That was yesterday afternoon and I am still here. Hope to leave tomorrow to go to Lethbridge, AB, Canada.

Yeah, Rick riding in the southern weather, and I am stranded in Fargo, ND. Where is the justice?

The Gilroy was an S&S motor. The dealer here in Charlotte has one at his home and it is a Gilroy.

No, the power plus came out in 2010. The 2004 was a Gilroy from California. Different company at that time.

I sold my Hannigan Side car last year. Just never was comfortable with the steering. Very hard to the right. Some said the easy steer would work but I did not have the faith to try it.

Same bike. My 02 is titled as a Royal Star Midnight Venture, because it is the black model.
