  1. Good for you. I want one too. I was at the Indian Dealership earlier this week getting Sylvester inspected for the state, and the first delivery of the 2014 Indians arrived. Talk about a bunch of excited people. One person wanted to buy one on the spot, but was not happy when told he would have to order one just like the people who would receive these new bikes.
  2. Duhh! I corrected it, thanks for the poke in the eye.
  3. OK, I am wrong. Should have stayed at a Holiday Inn many years ago. I happened to install my last front tire correctly, but I didn't know anything about wheel direction. I have changed 13 to 14 sets on my 02 RSMV over the last 180,*** miles. All done by me personally. Go figure. Never had an issue with the front wheel/tire other than a separated tread on a Metzler ME880.
  4. I could care less. Sylvester is running strong after 12 years and 180k miles. All the bike I will ever need.
  5. I don't see where the direction of the wheel makes any difference in the handling of the bike. But I didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn last night.
  6. Best I can tell is that it is running in the right direction. The arrow points down (picture is hard to tell) and that is the direction of travel.
  7. Find an upholsterer that will strip the seat cover and install a gel pad underneath. I did this way back in 2003 with a company called "Butt Buffer" and still use it today.
  8. :sign yeah that::sign yeah that:
  9. Diamond R Accessories is where I got mine.
  10. My brain aches. Think I will go for a ride and let it heal. Didn't mean to hijack the thread.
  11. Buy a Dunlop D 404 www and be happy. I run them front and rear.
  12. Let us all know how it turned out. All I had at the time was a floor jack, so I tied the bike to the garage wall and my farm tractor on the other side. Like I said it was ten years ago but I don't remember any issues.
  13. I just got the pressure off the tires when I did this...ten years ago. Huge improvement in low speed handling.
  14. Great evaluation. I rode the Classic when I demo-ed. Different rake on the forks, but mostly the same otherwise. I really loved it. The transmission was smooth on the one I rode and it handled great on mountain twists. I don't have the journalist approach to writing, but as a biker since 1959 I liked it. I believe that this is all that really matters.
  15. If you ever open a HD dealership, I am checking out. Other than that you can do what you please.
  16. Locktite blue. The lighted spoiler was a disappointment for most who bought it, but they are not available from Yamaha anymore that I know of. They were not bright like you would think.
  17. I left Goshen this morning and the air beckoned me to stay and borrow a ride. I hate work when it interferes with riding. I hope all have a lot of great riding this weekend.
  18. Looked like two pigs fighting in a gunny sack.
  19. Very kind of you, but I have been dispatched to New York. Thank you for the offer.
  20. I happen to be in Goshen but have no bike with me.
  21. I have had RIVCO on my bike since new and they still get attention.
  22. I am sure that the lawyers will be involved by now. I was a deputy years ago but hope that all turns out well for the couple and the trooper. It will be a very stressful time for all.
  23. A sad good bye. I hope you stay on the site.
  24. Sounds like she is a keeper. I have 42+ years invested with my wife and I just paid for another NFL subscription on DirectV. I don't deserve her.
