  1. Does the 1100 use a hydraulic clutch? If yes, then I would start there.
  2. I have had three now and I don't think they are so bad. On the third one they found a pre-cancerous mass and scheduled surgery two weeks later. That being said I think they are a great thing for those over 50.
  3. I am retired from fifty years in the concrete field and I have become very wise at my age, finally. The one thing I have learned is that concrete will never be fully understood. The ancient Egyptians began this process and it is still evolving. :backinmyday:
  4. I already have a dream catcher, you couldn't make that five hundred dollar bills instead?:whistling:
  5. I have never heard of a Long, but there are many tractors out there. I have a 1946 Ford 2N that has served me faithfully. This tractor was purchased on April 6, 1946. This is the day that he received the news that I was born. He has always said that the news was a good omen. This machine is original and never overhauled, but I am thinking of restoring it this next winter. Get what you want and love it like I do mine.
  6. It must be hypoid.
  7. For whatever it is worth, I have a 2005 Escape LTD with V-6. I have had it serviced by Ford since new and it now has 129,000+ miles. Never had a problem with it. Two years ago we bought a Mercury Mariner with the same engine and love both of them.
  8. Get a Bridgestone. They are so hard they will last forever. :whistling: Just don't try to stop on wet pavement.
  9. I have a Throttle lock II and love it. When on throttle it relieves pressure on my wrist ant forearm.
  10. Did you mean the right front fairing? I have fuses in the right fairing and a horn in the left.
  11. I purchased a Clearview XXL three years ago with the vent installed. My wife loves it as a passenger. No more wind bobbing her head around. I have no idea of the F4.
  12. I have said it before and I will say it now..."Oh hoo hah". I have ran Dunlop D404 for most of the 160k miles on my 02 Venture. Other than the original Bridgestones and the second tires (Metzler 880), I Dunlop D404 is all I have used. I have 13,400 on the front tire right now and will change it when it needs it. I put a new rear on last fall after 10,900 miles. I will continue to use these tires as long as they continue their performance. I always like to add this to my statements...I always use Dynabeads to balance.
  13. My riding buddy and I own a tire changer together. We keep it at his shop since he has more available space than I do. He even has five motorcycles in it, and has more free space than my 28'X26" shop. We change our own tires and many for friends but we always buy from Jake Wilson. They always have very reasonable prices and great service. If I ordered a tire from them today I would have it Friday easily if not Thursday. PS: We also always use Dynabeads.
  14. Yea I like that a lot.
  15. Nothing to it, I carried three long guns in cases to the shooting range and back on a Venture.
  16. I have no idea how much $AU10 is but I would like one.
  17. I love both the Victory Touring bikes but would lean toward the C/C tourer. I can't get past the ugly on the Vision and the saddle bags are tiny. I have ridden both on a number of occasions, but I am waiting until HOT weather to try one to see about radiant heat. Sylvester will remain in my possession no matter what.
  18. My question is "Why does it matter?" The thrill and fun of riding is cheaper than going to an amusement park. And the cost of riding a motorcycle is always cheaper than driving a car (medical bills excluded).
  19. My very good friend just traded his Voyager for an Ultra Classic Limited. His was a 2011 model (I think) but he bought it last October so I am not sure. He really did not like it and complained all the time.
  20. I am very sorry for your loss. Yes, the cagers are out to get us. I had a cager cross the center line on a two lane county road on Monday of this week. I was able to ride to the grass shoulder and avoid the collision. The driver kept going and was still over the centerline farther down the road when I looked back at the car.
  21. I love it. Although I am a 2nd gen rider.
  22. May the GOOD LORD hold you close Sgt. Walker. You are a hero.
  23. Looks like Ray Pittman aka LA Ray. The picture is of a VIP Escort and he was with the escorts like me. He is a STAR member and a friend.
  24. I am still putting the miles on my 02 RSMV, over 155,000 miles now without a hint of problems.
  25. Rickster, Are you traveling without a rider? If so you may want to look into the VIP escort. This gives you a rider to carry on your bike at the front of the parade. It requires a back rest and other criteria but is not a problem for most bikes. This is a Rolling Thunder sponsored event and you may have a service personell's mother with you on the ride (Gold Star Mother).
