  1. I have one from my '09 RSV from the Hannigan conversion with less than 8K on it. Give me a call and we can negotiate, and I will be home this afternoon if you want to pick it up. Name your price...
  2. Agreed!! Is there any other way to start the day than with prayer?????
  3. To quote a famous German Proverb, "We are too soon old, and too late smart!"
  4. I agree with Don!! I smell "New Episode" over this build! Paul Jr can't be responsible enough to respond to sales requests so Paul Sr wins the contract. The early bird gets the worm, and I'm sorry, but Sr knows how to run abusiness responsibly. Paul Jr has more of a "second shift" personality, and can't run a business at normal working hours. If anyone is arrogent, it's Jr. as he seems to do what he wants WHEN he wants. Look at Lee on that one episode. He quit after one day because he shows up at the shop bright and early ready to work and Jr is no where to be found, and shows up when he is darn good and ready to work! Man, I feel guilty if I show up one minute late for work...
  5. Huh??? I just clicked the link on this thread, it took me to the thread in the M&E forum, and that link in that thread took me right to the calendar entry. Hmmm, maybe something was lost in the Canadian interpretation??? I know, the calendar is SAE and the Canadian calendar is metric...
  6. The date for my Fall Foliage Ride has beern changed from the 9th to the 16th. Please Re enter your information on the calendar. Here's a link to the thread which has a link to the calendar... http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53316
  7. Did you mention you are a venturerider member?? We get a discount. Highway pegs, try J C Whitney for starts. There was a member making aftermarket collector boxes but not sure if they are avasilable still...
  8. Abbreviation for "look all" maybe???
  9. Gee, as a matter of fact, one of our members owns the very first '83 Royale ever made. If they didn't come out until '86 then my '84 Royale is a fraud...
  10. Jun 4 is preferred for us but Memorial Weekend works. It may, however, interfere with Marcarl's annual M&E...
  11. Hey Dexx, Howzit gfoing?? I've already supplied JC with a few parts for your old scoot! It went to a good home...
  12. Can't make it, Becky's birthday Sunday...
  13. OK first the obvious, is the on/off switch on? The switch is on the volume control. Next check the fuse for the CB. The unit lights are on a separate circuit from the actual CB. Ypu should have both a red and an orange wire coming to the CB. With the ignition on you should have 12 volts on both wires...
  14. That's what I'm thinking... Try to pinpoint where the buzzing is coming from. If it is above the headlight then it is the flasher as it is located on the front fairing frame.
  15. I use the 2 part plastic epoxy myself because it really chemically bonds and you can fill in voids, etc. To make a really ;permanent bond, take a dremel tool and cut a v shaped channel on the backside and fill with the epoxy. Doing this gives you much more surface area to bond with the epoxy making it even stronger!
  16. Try Pioneer Motorsports in Chaffee NY and mention that you are a Venturerider and it will get you a discount...
  17. Good luck, they are getting harder and harder to find, and are getting a good buck for them. I don't think there is any place to buy new but I may be wrong. Used setups are getting over $200 on fleabay...
  18. For new lones, try Buckeye performance. Ventureriders get a nice discount. There is a link to his site in the "Vendors" forums...
  19. Dah da dit dah, dit, di di dit
  20. Different people have different tolerance levels. I have no problem with someone having a beer with lunch, and I myself enjoy one myself, but I agree that more than 2 is not a good idea, and some people get drunk sniffing the cap... Not a bad idea for a rule, and if a person can't tolerate going without during the ride, it suggests the person has a serious alcohol problem and needs help...
  21. Agreed! The Voyager is an inexpensive alternative to a conversion but you need 40 acres to turn that rig around! A little hint for first time trike riding, go forward about a foot before turning the handlebars. Yes, it takes a little getting used to, and yes, you will want to put your feet down! A new trike will cost between 28K to 38K and they tend to keep their value. You can order a triwing for your 1st gen but you have to do the work yourself or pay someone else to do it... Bottom line, we LOVE ours but it is pricey and your MPG takes a nose dive!
  22. Let Bummer have first dibs, as I won't need it until next spring. If he doesn't take it I will probably be interesterd...
  23. Yup!! time for another next month...
  24. Might be an excellent time to run a half a can of seafoam in a tank of gas and go for a nice long hard ride. Be ready to change your spark plugs after that as all the gunk that the seafoam breaks loose will most likely foul them out...
  25. I have the same dilema coming up, so make that 2 needed...
