    Yah!! I still have a boat load of 1st gen parts I want to get rid of!! The problem with Fleabay is a lot of time the stuff you buy is in worse shape than what you are trying to replace. Don't ask me how I know that... I am not impressed with the prices and quality of Pinwall and refuse to buy from them any more... Pioneer Motorsports offers Ventureriders a 15% discount on parts ands accessories. Just add michellea to your friend list to qualify.

    Bill, all holders from both 1st and 2nd Gen's are the same so any Venture from '83 to present will work. I'll look around for one in my shed but I know there is no key so I'm not sure how you would tighten the screw...

    ...She gained a son! Saturday at 11:30 Michelle Sparceno became Mrs. Glen Malek!! It was a beautiful cerimony and the reception in the evening was at a wonderful reception hal and everyone had a fantastic time! The reception line was sort of comical with Michelle having 2 sets of parents whereas the groom only has her mother left so even though she married into the Malek family she had more of her family to receive guests. Took a ton of pictures, about 500...

    Valuable info for me as well!! My clutch started slipping yesterday at higher RPM's under load so I have been researching better aftermarket setups to consider. There is an excellent article on clutch replacement in the 2nd Gen Tech Library that Freebird posted that will also help out...

    I guess you have to ask yourself, "How important is it anyway???" We are not talking a huge difference, but a noticable one albeit. Are you interested in being the fastest set of 2 wheels in town? If so you do not want a Venture, you want a VMax. Spend enough money and you can have a V8 or a V10 sandwiched between your legs and have it somewhat resemble a stock venture, but why?? The Venture, 1st or 2nd gen will blow the doors of any stock HD except the VRod, and be very comfortable riding as well. Neither the 1st Gen or the 2nd Gen wil take a new Wing. Invest your time and money into touring, which is what the Venture is really built for...
