I saw a real nice gold VR east of Rochester NY today in Wayne County. It had a tag on it that said "Fifth Anniversary". What model year would that be anyway? Also, if the owner could PM me for a quick question, it would be appreciated.

This day last year I bought my Gen 1 as a Christmas Present to myself. Today also marks my 1 year anniversary as a Venture Rider. The bike has gone through a lot of changes since I bought her, thanks to the help of members here. Huge transformation from the leaky, dirty, mangy rat I picked up. I want to thank everybody here for the plethora of information, ideas, & assistance. NOW, since today is also my membership renewal date, how do you renew? I don't see a renew membership button. Do you just drop a note to Don? Andy

Thank goodness to the Man up above I have now made my 1 year anniversary from taking out that 8 point buck last year (sure wish I had those antlers!), back into riding a bit and making it back into full time work and $$ producing! I want to say THANK YOU to everyone on here that bought a raffle ticket for the "Aussie Annie" trailer last year to help us thru this time, it was amazing and truly let us know how we are appreciated around here. I have no other "family" like you guys that know how to make a guy feel after the devastating effects that happened. We shall be happy to see a lot of you next year via MD and the Int'l Rally! I made it to Atlanta last night after dropping off the 99 RSTD with Tazmocycle so he can go through the carbs while I'm in Atlanta for classes man i cant wait for Friday i will be able to ride last years anniversary present from my wife for the first time and my anniversary is on the 15th of this month

Had breakfast and a nice visit with playboy and his lovely wife today. Hope you guys enjoy the rest of your weekend. To hot to ride today, but here is a pic from a previous ride with them up scenic hwy 7 here in Arkansas a few weeks ago. Looking forward to another ride soon. Today is Moped and his wife's (me) 40th anniversary! I feel it is a really big accomplishment in this day and age. So I am proud to say, we have had many good times, a few bad, we have raised 3 children, and we have 2 grandchildren. We have built our home from clearing the wooded lot, to working side by side hammering the plywood on the floors and roof. Putting the shingles on together, and all the other hard work that goes with it. We have helped each other take care of our aging parents. We have been through it all. We still enjoy a nice motorcycle ride together in the country side. So thank you Ron for all the years; let's try for 50 together. Oh I forgot to say I still love you. Yama Mama

Here it is again, June 21st, 15 years ago we took the plunge and decided it was time to have the same last name. Lots of drama and hard times, but lots of great memories. It isn't perfect, but I'll take it, and I'm glad that were still proving some folks wrong. Happy Anniversary I Love You Kiddo!

Ok, some of you know we are looking for a place to live, well we think we found it. I have to pay the deposit by wed and rent next week. But that's not the reason for the title of the thread. On our way to dinner after seeing the place (it's our wedding anniversary today) Mike was traveling on a 4 lane stretch of road here in Warner Robins a woman in a small car pulled out into the lane in an attempt to travel across all 4 lanes of traffic. Upon realizing she couldn't make it even partway across she slammed on brakes..right in front of Mike, we saw her attempt so he was slowing down just in case but was still traveling too fast to come to a stop since there was loose gravel in the road too. So he cut behind her, thought he gave enough room to get around her...but then she backed up. I could have punched the trunk of her car she was so close when she backed up. Never once did she seem to realize there was a bike there. We made it to dinner, and let me tell you, that was some really good sake I had with dinner. I drank the entire bottle myself. Here's hoping next year's anniversary is less exciting....

husband forgets anniversary illegul > 10/10 21:28:52 Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really pissed. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!" The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Bob has been missing since Friday.

As some of you may remember, the wife and I took a trip to Niagara Falls last memorial day weekend for our anniversary. Had a great time and met some really nice people. This year is our tenth and I promised her a long time ago that I'd take her to Las Vegas. My treat in this trip is that we're renting a bike instead of a car to go and see the local sights. I just booked a Victory Vision. I rode one a while back for just a few minutes and am looking forward to putting some real miles on one. We want to ride out to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Any suggestions on the area are greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good route to the town of mather california just outside of yosemite to the evergreen lodge? my wife and i are riding there beginning of june for our anniversary.

It's the 25th Anniversary of Challenger. The loss of 7 lives that we all witnessed. Commander Francis R. Scobee, Pilot Michael J. Smith, Mission Specialists Judith A. Resnik, Ellison S. Onizuka, Ronald E. McNair and Payload Specialists Gregory B. Jarvis and Sharon Christa McAuliffe The last image of them all were there smiling faces as they headed on to the shuttle. We lived in Portsmouth VA at the time I was home with the kid (she was only 2 back then). So do you remember where you were that sad day when you heard or saw it? Margaret
