We are going to Mobile, AL on Wed to meet up with our son and his family for a couple days. Hoping the weather stays nice enough for Pat and I to ride the bike down. Going to be good to see the kids again. Pat hasn't seen the Alabama coast so that will be a first for her. Praying for good weather... Don

Here are pictures from today's lunch at Pawley's Porch! We had a great turn out with perfect riding weather! Art708, Tom, Joe Pat and Bobbi, Sling (Rick) and Peggy, Pecker (Dave), Chuck (works with George), and Blackjack (Terry) were there. After lunch, we rode back to the house and had New York Cheesecake and apple pie (the key lime pie need revamping!). Thank you Blackjack and Sling for fixing my water swan! I will make sure it runs every weekend! Had a great time today! I want to again thank everyone that came to my meet n eat Saturday. You all made it worth while. I also wanted to let everyone know that we raised $210 in donations for St. Jude. I spoke to Dragonrider and will be sending him a check this week. We had 26 attendees plus ourselves, so that is an awesome amount! Thanks again everyone! Pat and I are already planning a "2nd Annual meet n eat" for next year, especially since our son, Jason, PROMISED to be here for that one. And for those interested...he is doing fine over there. Leaving for the hospital. Our oldest granddaughter is in labor with her first child. This will be our 2nd great granchild...another boy. She went into labor at 2 am. Will keep you posted. Pat and Don PS. It makes us feel so old!!!

I worked at the "roundhouse" in Philly as an undergrad, live outside of the city now. Officer McDonald, 30 years old, was serving the 25th district as a motorcycle-based Highway Patrol officer when he was shot and killed in the line of duty on the 23rd of September, ending his 8 year tour. http://www.odmp.org/officer/19570-police-officer-patrick-mcdonald To honor Officer McDonald's duty and sacrifice the City of Philadelphia has contacted many groups to gather 1,000 motorcycles with American flags along Hulmeville Road in Bensalem, Pa and at the entrance of the cemetery.
