Santa's sleigh, well Grandpa/Sleeperhawk's pickup, is all loaded up and ready to make the Christmas journey to a little town in Alabama!!! :sleigh: There is even a slight hint of a little snow on Christmas day! Does anyone have some technical drawings of a fork brace for a first gen? I have a friend at a place in Ottawa here that would like to make me something interesting. I need a good fork brace so why not use state of the are metals!! I could give him the brace of my bike but that would stop the ridding and that would be crazy!

Finally found a trunk for the ride!! That's the good news! Bad news is that I still need the key/lock mechanism, and the backrest for the Mrs to lean on! I call upon the hordes of Venture owners to scrounge through their piles of extra parts to help a fella out!! The 85 trunk is the large one, I believe it was the first year the big trunks were introduced. If any of you fine people can help me out, just PM me. I'm not looking for donations, I'll gladly pay for parts, and reimburse shipping. Thanks to all the great people on this site. You have helped me with my bike in many ways!!
