  1. She's probably going to kill me for this. This morning I took her to Rochester General for a check up on her heart. They found 2 stent had collapsed. The Dr. did her Roto Rooter Thing and replaced them with 2 new supercharged stents, so she will be better then new. She is Still in the Hospital and she has her note pad with her, So please send her a little cheer. She really doesn't like this sort of thing, So lay it on good and thick.
  2. Has anyone had to adjust the length of their kickstand due to lowering their bike. Mine is going in tonight to be lowered 1 inch and I was wondering if I would have to shorten the ks to make sure the correct lean angle was maintained. Sure would hate to lay this thing over.
  3. I met a girl in the park the other evening. There was an instant spark between us and she immediately dropped to her knees and laid on the grass at my feet. As we lay making love, I thought "These taser guns are well worth the money". Boomer.....who wonders how long he's gonna be banned from the Forum.
  4. I know, I haven't been on in awhile, but wanted to say "hi". Was waiting for my company to implode and finally got my permanent lay off date and held them to it. The girlfriend is happy because I was finally able to move because of the lay off. Just need to settle in to the new apartment , which we can't move into until the end of September. Had to sell the bike for some buffer zone money, but will be keeping my eyes open once I find a job or two. Figured I should pop in and let people know i was still around. Been in South Carolina for about 2 weeks now and really like it so far, still feel a little geographically lost, but half the fun is exploring.
  5. Does anyone have a spare clutch lever for a 2006 venture? My bike bent her's up when it decided to lay down and go to sleep at a stplight! Thanks, Kenw
  6. I did a thread a couple of weeks ago on my bike not wanting to go straight.I changed the steering bearings and it made a world of difference. Thanks for the input and help. Now that I did that when i left the handlebar lay I got air in the clutch line. Hope that should be an easy fix. Again thanks for the help.
  7. Hey guys I'm wondering if any of you work in the constuction field. Particularly Boilermakers, Ironworkers, Industrial Safety and such. I was employed as a Safety Rep using my Paramedic/people skills to keep workers safe when I was was lucky (or not) enough to be hired as a Directional Driller. Then after a few months the company decided to lay of 650 at one time. I am also a Boilermaker and have my book. So, if anyone knows of anything going on let me know. Thanks
  8. New here, so not sure where is the best place to post this. I have an '09 RSV and am wondering how to rotate the attena so that I can lay it down. One is okay, the other is pointed towards the truck if you try to lay it down. I looked at it andf it appears that there are 3 differnet junctions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. finally decided to tie into the suspension on my wing. getting everything ready for a major job. got to pull the whole front end off to install the springs and modify the forks for the racetech gold valve. put it off as long as i could. just hate to lay one of my bikes up mostly on a good riding weekend. the plastic removal is the hardest part. not looking forward to that. wish me luck. bill:2133:
  10. I finally bought a new set of cables for the intercom system from Sierra and I am curious as to how the end of the passenger one is supposed to lay. These wires were original and the holes where the pins would go were rusty. Currently, the old one in the back is held on with a wire tie on the right passenger hand bar. In the package came two holders for the ends. Did the rear one come with a holder when new? If not, did y'all use the holder that came with the kit? If so, where did you stick it? Is yours on the left or right side? I have had this bike since 94 and just now working my way to headsets, geez.
  11. Hi everyone. Just thought I'd say hola from Mazatlan. We have been here since last Wednesday and aren't going back to Indiana until Saturday. Needless to say, I should get a bit of color in this pasty white skin! Having the bike down here would have been cool as heck. Now you have to get used to the way folks drive, but I believe they aren't too bad. They aren't distracted by cell phones and such. Well back to the beach. It's a routine. Lay around in the sun, read a book, drink alot of water then on to the stronger stuff. Rinse, repeat.... See ya soon! 12. For those who follow first aid changes; there has been some problems with the new recommendations on the Red Cross pages for the "lay person" as opposed to the professional rules for first responders. For the lay person the new thing is for only chest compressions for adults and 30-2 for children. Go to your local Red Cross for the latest info. The older you get the more you need first aid training. Rod
  13. Well according to the dealer my first HD Ultra was built today. I think they are built in PA at the plant that did not lay off. I guess I'll see next week when the dealer said it would be shipped.
