Your fuel gauge problem is probably the sender unit in the gas tank. It is located under the seat and comes out with 2 screws. The resistor element sometimes gets warped. The resistor element is nsidde the little tin box when you take the sender and float out. You can adjust the tension a little bit by losening the phillips screw and sliding the assembly in a little and retighten. the whole thing wil want to rotate as well, so try to prevent that, but if it does, just adjust it so that the wiper is on each end with the float travel at end to end...

Of course I'll pray for you!!! I also highly recommend following Dr's orders too!! I pray that our Father gives the specialist the wisdom and ability to properly diagnose the situation and do the appropriate action. I pray that God guides the hands of the surgeon performing the procedure. I pray that God's wil and way be done in you and that he is with you every second of every day, but of course we know that to be the truth! In Jesus' name, Amen

I have a "better" set from Sears and for the most part they work OK but a couple of years ago I acquired a set from Cummins Tools and they seem to work just fine! I have had a couple of instances where I have had to modify a pair to get into a particular location, mostly can't reach in far enough. A little time on the bench grinder fixed that...

Sorry to hear about your scoot but if you are telling us about it that means you are OK! I don't have your answer but two possibilities are either it sold, or the ad expired. Either way glad you are still around to tell us, hope you weren't hurt too badly, and good luck finding a new scoot you like!

There is free play in the needles, which is spring loaded. Those "Screws" youn see are plastic, and should be snug. If you take one apart you will find the spring behind it. Hope that helps...

Also, are you sure you have spark to the #1 and #2 cylinders?? Does the tach work? If it doesw not then you probably not getting spark to either plug as the tach uses the spark command from #2 cylinder. You may have a bad pickup coil or a bad TCI or corroded connections somewhere between the pickup coil and the TCI...

I just took the time to pray for whatever your situation is, hope you don't mind. Yes, there are times when we must put our loved ones before our own personal pleasures. If you weren't riding that much then perhaps it was a wize choice. As mentioned above, you are always family here whether you have a bike or not. Please feel free to rely on us for friendship, and also if you need prayers or advice! We are always here!

For driving lights, just buy a pair of cheap driving lights from Wally World for anywhere from $10 to $20 and McGuiver some mounts and you should be good to go there...

OK there are some smaller diaphragms in the choke circuit for each cover that may cause that same problem. Are you familiar with the carb syncing procedure for thesae bikes yet? You need 4 vacuum gauges to do this, and each screw is for a particular adjustment, i.e. balance between pairs, and balance with each pair. Do a search or check the tech section of this site for further info... I am assuming you have changed the plugs already, and hopefully ran a half can of more of seafoam thru your carbs already

It worked for me! I also have a little more expensive and dourable cover for the '84, bought the Chinese cover for the RSV before it became a trike, and it served the purpose for the money. Ended up giving it to a local member after triking. If you have a rainstorm, it's a good idea to uncover the same as any cover to let them breathe as they will allow some moisture thru. Other members have also used those cheepies and they do serve the protection just as good as one for 80 mbucks or more. Of course you can spring a couple hundred for one of those collapsible "iglo" types, but don't expecxt them to hold up over winter... Does that Fury have the 318 or the 383???
