  1. How about sugar free for us diabetics???
  2. Kick stand problem is probobly the kickstand switch. 3 wires, center common, end wires should read infinity or zero with switch engaged or disingaged. If it is reading some small value instead of zero, like 8 ohms 0r 14 ohms or??? then replace the switch. New ones are about $40 give or take. In this instance I do NOT recommend another used switch as it too may cause problems down the road. Been there, done that, didn't buy the tee shirt. The fuel sensor can be tightened up as far as the tension against the resistor element. It's kind of tricky to do but you will see a phillips head screw that adjusts the tension and position. Just look at it and figure it out...
  3. That's a new one to me, Mike! Here I was wondering what kind of bike or car you found...
  4. Yah! couldn't get on this AM, so I did a few things (took a crap, etc) and came back, tried again, and no problem...
  5. Hey!! I was only kiddiing when I said break a leg!!!!
  6. Pic 1, never seen before Pic 2 is the Passenger controller pic 3 is the splitter between the radio and CB when using a combined CB/Radio antenna, looks like somebody snipped the maqin lead from the antenna pic 4 should be the interface between the CB and power amp I take it I don't need to take a picture of the cable then. Good thing, I'm busy with yard work and we are going out for dinner/dancing this eve...
  7. Are you planning a full restoration or just get'r runnin' and ride??
  8. Break a leg!! Please, not literally!
  9. I just leave mine on reserve at all times and carry a spare 2 gallons in the trunk. Know the feeling of being where you can't find an open gas station, made it 2 up pulling a trailer about 135 miles before running out of gas. Trikes don't get as good mileage! Before we triked I would get over 200 miles out of a tank, less at highway speeds...
  10. Really?!!? I triked mine and the warranty is still good...
  11. Yah! Older bikes require a lot of love and attention but pay you back sooooooo much!!
  12. It looks so, so, so, RETRO! Good job Mike!
  13. NOOOOOOOOO!!! The next thing you know she will want her Birthday present early, Christmas early, etc etc etc...
  14. Yah!! Inaccessable, but I'll try to dig it out of the box and take a picture for you. It is a DIN cable, plugs into the power amp, not the tuner, is right angle, and plugs into the back of the CB. You also need the power cable for the CB unit as well, and the splitter or separate antenna for CB... PS Gary I think the cable I got from you was an intercom cable but I can't remember
  15. Would like to Evan, but unfoertunately we have a prior engagement.
  16. Just prayed for you and your family at this tragic time in your life. Sorry for your loss...
  17. Yes, it is a nice alternative to the tri-wing trike kit and a lot cheaper! The only real issue is the turning radius is a tad wide compared to a regular trike kit. The nice thing about the Voyager is that it can be removed quite easily! Yah! The 1st gen is a very tall bike, but very comfortable 2 up. Enjoy the ride!!
  18. You should pretty much like it, it is sort of a Venture without the tour pack and fairing...
  19. You are welcome to ride back to our place on Sunday, we will be leaving the Comfort Inn late morning. We tend to return alone as we are not in to getting up at 0'dark in the AM just to be on the road by sunrise...
  20. Thanks for THAT tip, Gary!! I checked it out and it's OK... http://damonq.com/files/Red-Kote.pdf
  21. Yah! Gunkylump scored one of the last ones available at a dealer last month and it cost $141 shipped. Those breather covers are nice and heavy but I'm thinking mine has a black motor and breather so the chrome breather covers may not look as nice on mine...
  22. Thanks, Larry, but I think I will give the Red Kote a try as it is a lot cheaper and for the $28 it will do 2 tanks! You may be interested to know I am going to try to fit a 1st gen gas tank mounted backwards in the Hannigan probably trhis summer or fall. Backwards so that the filler neck is at the trunk...
  23. There are a couple of B&B's in the town. Let the WNY crowd know, you will have an ample selection of riders in the area! That's right after MD, we all should be bgack Sunday PM...
  24. Yes, that is what I read on a couple of websites, Red Kote=great. Kreem=junk! Russell, I will give Gary a call in the near future, thanks!!
