  1. Always gotta stir the pot, eh Don?!!?
  2. Ahhhh!! different from the heal toe on my 2nd gen!! TRhe 2nd gen, which BTW I am adapting to my 1st gen, still has the linkage piece on it like the regular shifter!! It pivots in the same place as the stock shifter. Haven't gotten around to seeing exactly how well it is going to work yet. I do have a 1st gen H/T shifter squirreled away so I will look at that one! I stand corrected, Mr Norg!! My appologies!
  3. I can think of at least a dozen more in Ontario alone that haven't said anything yet...
  4. Here ya go...
  5. Don't listen to him!! It's the "front" one. I'll go take a picture...

  8. OK anyone can log in as a guest (as long as their ISP hasn't been blocked) but can not post. A trial mamber can view AND post for 2 weeks but then must pay their membership dues to continue to post. A lot of the "guests" are those cute 'lil spy bots...
  9. Hey Bull!! Thyere is a DIN cable that goes from the rear of the CB unit to the main power amplifier. It plugs in where the intercom cable plugs into. I am assuming you bought a Venture CB and not an aftermarket one. If you bought an aftermarket one we will have to make up a special cable for you... EDIT: Just reread your post and I think you mean '86 VR. Hopefully you have a MK2 dash piece so you can mount the CB and the CLASS controller. Those dash pieces are getting hard to come by, the last one I saw on Fleabay went for over $80 shipped!! You will also have to wire up the power connector and the noise filter to the power connector. You will also need a splitter for the CB antenna unless you are going to run 2 antennas. I have a spare splitter. If you can find a scrap MK2 dash piece you can do like I did and move your surge tank as far forward as you can and mount the CB where the MK1 control box goes for the MK1 CB. It just, and I do mean JUST fits that way...
  10. I am asking $25 including shipping, and your old one shipped to me. Two of the 3 belts needed per unit are on backorder. I will let you know when I am ready... EDIT: Unfortunately shipping to Canada costs more!! I will check later on how much our USPS medium flat rate box costs but I'm thinking it's about $10 extra. Yes, you Ontarioans can save shipping by coming down and exchange on the spot. I am planning on having one or two units ready at all times. Just so you know what all you are getting, new drive belts (3 of them), reconditioned or replaced pinch rollers, cleaned and demagnetized head, and general cleaning and lubing. My initial order was for 7 sets of belts but unfortunately they are stock out of 2 out of 3 of the belts. I should know today or tomorrow what time frame we are talking.

Fram 7317 Penzoil PZ 109 Motorcraft FL 821 Pure 1 PL14612, PL14610 Mobil 1 M1-108, M1-110 Bosch 3300, 3323 (I use the 3323) WalMart ST7317 AC PF 1237, PF 2057 Hastings LF 113, LF 240 STP S-02876, S-02867 Valvoline V050 WIX 51365, 51356 I forgot where I got this list, but I do remember it was thru this site. Haven't tried many of these, I stuck with the Bosch as it is available within walking distance at my local Auto Zone...
  14. Word of advice, do not leave it in the bike over winter, and do not use a computerized charger even if it has an AGM setting! Mine went dead over the winter, 1 volt, and tried charging it with the AGM setting. The best I got it to charge up to was around 5 volts before the charger said bad battery. Sent it back under warranty and they said they were able to recharge it, and that my charger was no good for the battery and I need to use a simple non electronic controlled charger!! Wish we had an O'Reily's in the area, all we have is Auto Zone and Advanced for chain stores...
  15. Hmmmm, wonder if you were to hook up an air compressor to the gas line could you blow it up again?!!? That is wild!!!
  16. A bigger better brake petal??
  17. AM/FM/Cassette parts??? I just went thru all my stuff and have several tuner/amp units, tuner controllers (minus push buttons) and volume control units all tested and in working order. I'm trying to get rid of all this crap!! This stuff is free for shipping costs! Also, I will have several reconditioned Cassette decks available for a small fee exchange. I found a source for belts ansd pinch rollers and I will be refurbishing these decks for those interested in having a cassetre deck like new!
  18. Yah! We saw flakes today but so far no accumulation...
  19. I dunno, looks like it's more of a "lift the tongue up and center it" than a "steer the trailer into you" device. I kind of like it and if I trailered more I would consider buying it...
  20. Darn! Wrong side of the country!! Have fun!!!
  21. Hmmmm, lemme see, you have 7 cassettes over here, as well as a flat screen monitor and an under the counter TV/DVD/AMFM radio waiting for your pickup. See ya this afternoon...
  22. I can just imagine being pulled over on the trike by that thing!!!
  23. Yah!! A welder would be nice!! So would a lathe! Or a milling machine! A lift would be nice but I get along OK with my mechanic's stool and besides, I don't think they make a lift for a trike...
  24. Great!!!!! Guess I'll run over there and make reservations now...
  25. Outstanding!!
