    Member Charley is in his young twenties, or maybe even his late teens, and rides a 1st gen, I think he was still in High school when he got it a few years ago. What can I say, some of you young whippersnappers show a little bit of maturity and decide on a comfortable bike that still goes fast! The young ladies will find themselves a lot more comfortable on them instead of a crotch rocket...

    Phil, on each horn you will find a pink and a brown wire. With the horn connected you will see 12 volts on both wires with the ignition on. Disconnect the wires on both horns and you will find 12 volts on only one wire, the brown one I think. Reconnect just that wire and jumper the other horn terminal to ground, the horn should blow. If it does then the switch is your problem. If the horn does not blow then the horn is bad...

    Thanks Kreg! Had the honor of meeting both of them in person at the International at the Hub in Arkansas and enjoyed their company! They are good people! We will continue praying for him.

    Venturerider family, it is with saddened heart that I must report on a phone call we just received. Becky's daughter Michelle just had a miscarriage! I am at a loss for words and am feeling numb. Please pray for Glen and Michelle, and also for Becky as well. She was sooo excited about finally being a Grandmother. I guess we won't be moving after all...

    Go to radio Shack or Wally world or Target and buy one of those universal adapters that plugs into a cigarette lighter and has a switch to select whatever voltage you need...

    Glad he's OK! Well, he's graduated from "Those who are going to" to "Those who have." (Two kinds of motorcycle riders) Yes, a valuable lesson, hope he continues to ride but with a new respect for what can happen when you least expect it! Ride defensive!

    I'm not sure if TriWing is still making them, but they were the only kits for trike conversion on a first gen. You might want to consider a Voyager kit which would be a lot cheaper. Hanniganmade a nice sidecar for the 1st gen. My feelings are go trike instead of sidecar as with a sidecar you turn real easy one way but not as easy the other direction...

    They are a sealed unit, can't be disassembled. I should have a spare someplace you can have. If it is a Royale then you have cruise so you need the 4 wire one. You could try soaking the switch in rubbing alcohol and work it while submersed, it may help itthe switch...
