Are the rest of you as sick and tired of all these phone calls from one obscure organization or another trying to raise money some political or social cause. It seems like all they do is think up some 'cause' and start calling. What a rip. I tell them all to put their head in a very dark place.....

Well Im here. Actually got in town Monday. Nice weather and looking forward to a great time and a lot of racing...............calling for bad weather Friday, but it should pass. I am suprised at how few bikes I have seen here.

Does anyone here sell them? If not which one is a good one to start with? I searched and searched and found tons of dvds calling themselves ride like a pro. Id like to use what is recommended by the members here.

I, like many other members here, am going through a bad case of"PMS" (parked motorcycle syndrome)so I am calling on all of our "Alumni" VRchat members to come to a reunion of great minds meeting tomorrow night on chat. I will be on around 7:00 EST or so. Any new folks to the forum please come and give this a try. I will try to get minimuffin to show up, you know she has been hiding lately. Maybe muffinman will release her from his grip for an hour or so. So rather than staring out the window at the snow, and thinking about riding down that favorite road, come in to chat and talk about it. I bet we can make you feel better than some OTC pain reliever. Folks, the Ponderosa in Cody, WY has just a few cabins and they were all booked up. I had one of those reserved. I have just canceled my as Eileen and I have decided to take our chance on using our hotel points to save the money. So, they now have ONE cabin available. If you want it, you better call fast because it won't last long. You can call Linda at (307) 587-9203 tell her that you are calling about the cabin that Don Nelson had reserved. Please post here if you have reserved it so that others won't bother to keep calling. The downside is that you will likely be a neighbor to Squid boy.

I have an 02 F150 4wd Lariat that has a leaking rear differential. I need the torqe for the bolts. And, the last time I changed the front calipers, I overtightend the lugs on one wheel and warped the rotor. So, I bought new rotors today and need the torque of the wheel lugs also. - I don't want to warp one again. Of course I didn't think about calling a dealer this morning to get them and don't want to wait until Monday if I don't have to. Can any of you help me out? craigr

Just got back from Sturgis after 4,000 miles on my 2007 Venture. I noticed oil on the floor under the left side of my bike. It appears to be coming out of 1 of 4 drain hoses. Anyone know what causes this? I plan on calling the dealer tomorrow to schedule an oil change. Could it be a problem that might be covered under the warranty?

Well I got an email from Jeff this morning and he said they were hoping to get out today. He said they changed their flight schedule. Evidently they had them scheduled as a straight through flight, they changed it to hops. So I'm thinking since I haven't heard from him he's on his way. He was typically calling around noon and no phone call today. I'll let you all know when I hear from him. I'm not sure how long that will be. I'm hoping not too long or I'll be a bit nutty ok nuttier. Margaret

As most of you know calling 911 from your cell phone gets routed to the CHP in Vallejo. You may be able to save valuable time by calling the local emergency number in your area. the most current list is (hopefully) attached, and/or you could go to www.getice.com for that information. Looks like a "rainy day" project to store some of those numbers on the cell phone - heehee.

Just looking at my banking online and I see a charge for $350.00 to some online clothing store in Holland,someone got my debit card info and went shopping,I've sent emails to the company and I'll be calling the bank first thing in the am,don't know what else to do right now but I really feel the need to hurt someone.

Do you have a riding season? I will probably have the scoots winterized by Dec 1. Sometimes it's Nov 1. Not so much the cold as those fall rains bringing the creek up. April usually brings enough warmth to get things moving again. The Weather channel is calling for a unusually cold and snowy winter for the east. You guys in New York get any snow last night? Our forecast is calling for snow showers next week. It could be a long winter nothing to do but bash on those second gen's.

Some of you may remember that I took a wild leap of faith and tore my bike apart myself to have it painted. Well, that was back in June and I still can't get the dealer to give me back my parts. I have threatened to get a lawyer, to file a police report for theft, and begged for my parts to be returned -- everything short of threatening to come beat his ass! However, I still can't get this guy to get my parts back to me. He claims that he parted them out and that the painter won't bring them back despite his numerous calls. I've given up that I'll get them back this riding season and have stepped back to calm down and decide the avenue to pursue. The problem is, every time I begin to think of how to deal with the situation I just become crazy mad and start looking around for my baseball bat. I'm not certain at this point that I can stay cool so I've avoided calling for the last week. I'll figure something out in a couple of weeks after I go to the Vietnam Veteran's Reunion in Kokomo, IN Sept. 19 & 20. I should have some sense back by then and will probably call the police in. In the meantime, does anyone know how I can contact Yamaha to file a complaint? I'd appreciate the help. Chuck:crying:

i just watched a short video clip, sent by my sister. these people were actually causing popcorn to pop, by pointing three or four cell phones at the kernels, and then calling the phones and letting them ring a few times! what kinda power source is doing that? just jt:confused24:
