For me, the only time I use the cruise is on highway speed around 70-75, under that it just doesn't work very well. I did run the Blue Ridge Parkway in 4th gear and set the cruise at 50 mph and it worked good. 5th gear, for my Venture, requires enough speed to allow the CC to work right.

white sidewalls?
Sylvester replied to Shipper's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I have run the D 404 for the last five sets with the wide whitewalls. There life span is not with the Metzlers or Avons but the price is good and the performance is great. Metzlers I will never own again due to belt breakdown. I have never tried the Avons but many of my friends run them. I have nearly 120,000 miles on my 02 and for what I do and love the Dunlop fits the bill. -
My dealer in North Carolina will change out both front and rear, grease the drive shaft, grease the pins and grease the swing arm for $107.00. BUT I have my own tire changer and balancer so I do my own work.

I have had the same battery in my Venture for the last 5 1/2 years without incident, but I am going to order the Deka since I know I am running on empty. My tender lights up fairly quickly to signify full charge, but it is a matter of time and I don't want to be left stranded.

It takes longer than they say, IMHO. I got mine in 8-9 weeks, but I am very happy with the product.

Nothing wrong with D404's. I just put a new set on my bike. Have run them for five years without a complaint.

Get over it. It will happen again!

Just mount the tank and no compressor. It should do fine without recharging up to a point. Recharge at the home when needed. Unless you need an awful amount of air.

That happens when you live north of a line running from Virginia Beach, VA to Redding, CA.

A buddy of mine put the Bazooka amp. and speakers on his 06 Black Cherry including the boom base. All I could tell was that it was louder but not anymore crisp.

118,000 miles here and never a problem with gas. Carb sync every 16,000 miles and Sea Foam every 4-5 tanks of gas.

I was with a group of fifteen and found closures on the PW around Little Switzerland, but it was fun to just be out with the great weather. Now I am back on the flatland and allergies are kicking my a$$. My wife's black car was yellow this morning.

I have installed the same kit through another vendor and have not had any problems with slipping or anything else. The kit works so there must be another problem.

The key to being a great heavy equipment operator is to NOT do anything STUPID. This is being a stuntman not an operator. The whole idea of the commercial is to show the power of the Liebherr line.

I am totally content with my 02 RSMV with 118,000 miles on him. This is a love affair and Sylvester is the object of my affections. I have ridden since 1959 and have never had a better machine. I will continue this love affair for the rest of my life unless the bike gets totaled. Maybe a sidecar or trike is in the future!

I run white LEDs on my midnight Venture so nobody cares about law enforcement, but it sure makes the chrome come out at night.

I could not understand a word you said. I guess I will go back to the shop and continue removing the rear wheel, punkin, drive shaft and swing arm. I am sure glad my father did not have to live in a computer world...he would have had to been committed to an asylym.

Go to site to see what he didn't listen about! www.gastongazette.com/news/police-45426-driving-test.html And to think I passed my test in 1962 without the MSF.

You must have had such a good time at the M&E Saturday, to have felt like working on your bike on Sunday.
