    Mine, an 85, quit working then started again and then quit again, and now has been working for the whole season. Maybe at the age that it is, you have overtaxed it some, give it the winter and maybe it'll be ready to do it's job again next year. Never did nothing to mine to have it work, just wondered about it, that's all.

    I thought that Phil was waiting to install his new hitch and so had Phantom Wife towing (holding) the trailer. Glad you straightened me out Don.

    I would pull the master off and give it a good cleaning. Lots of area in there to hide age old dirt,,,,, should be done anyways.

    ya I got ya, the person on the back of the bike usually carries the bag isn't it? I'll make sure we don't make that mistake and somebody get's a picture.

    I know it should work, at least there would seem to be some logic in it all,,,, not trying to be a smart ass here, but fork oil is fork oil, and brake fluid is not fork oil. Just checked and sure enough they come in different bottles, different colors, and the brake fluid seems to flow better,,,,,, but,,,,, the fork oil is slippery, the brake fluid grabs,,, so I noticed there is a difference,,,, maybe that's why they make different things for different applications. I'm not that smart, but it seems if your having problems, one needs to check what is different than the instructions,,,,,, darn threw them out already,,,,,, and here I don't see fork oil. What do I know,,,, not much,,, but if it says fork oil, I might even try it, just for kicks, maybe even no kicks but then I've learned something. The oil in the forks I think is forced through those 3 washers, 2 wave washers and 1 flat washer. The design is there,,, again, what do I know. I'll be quiet now.,,,,caution,,,,,,, just for a little while,

    maybe have enough wheels already, enough motors to make a 16 cyl. 20 speed tranny. Don't give him any ideas,, that garage is already full.

    I never have had much luck, they usually give you the answer you already have. I would have more luck on this site. And yes, you are out the money whether the answer is right or not,,,,, hey, you have an answer right???

    Alright, I did it once in person,,, wrong day,,,, but what the heck, I'm old enough to be able to do that now,,,,, So Happy Birthday. Relax today, let the woman serve you hand and foot, take you out for supper, make your coffee, bring the cake, serve breakfast in bed, answer the phone, cut the grass (that you were going to do yesterday and then forgot, because you're getting too old) polish your scoot, ( oh wait, it's not there)(darn), giving you time to visit with friends,,, well other folks at least and generally get well rested so that you are well prepared to face the next year.

    Reading through this tells me that I would drain the oil and fill it with FORK OIL, no more than 10 wgt. Power steering fluid is much too heavy.

    You could always translate into Dutch, everybody can read Dutch, at least I hear them speak Dutch on occasion, or is it German,,,,, Never mind, I already know.

    How many tanks are you filling, just yours, or is there an auxiliary tank somewhere else that is being supplied by your undisclosed generosity.
