    Glad to hear you is Ok. Could have been a lot worse. As mentioned, I stay as far away from those guys as I can, you just never know when one will fly off.

    Mostly the wasps will be dead from the sudden impact when they hit the curve in shop vac. A couple of inches of water is a good idea as well, just to be sure.

    Just in my mind,,, just in my mind mind you, riding a road such as you describe at 70mph maybe asking for trouble to start with, but then that is just in my mind,,,, after all, what's the hurry, you are on a scoot aren't you, enjoy the time and be safe, take some time to get there. As far as the turtle is concerned, the best approach would be to crank on the throttle so to get the front wheel up and over the poor thing, thing is, at 70mph you don't have a lot of torque left to get the job done and so the cranking on the throttle may not be as effective as it might be at 50 mph. Still a scary thing, no matter how you approach it.

    Try using your shop vac to suck them in during the day. Just put the hose where they normally come in, turn on the vac and go to work.

At first there are lots of things to do, but after a while the truth settles in,,, the hare is changing color.     Just seen this, kind of a shocker, but then of us has their trials, only to draw us closer to the One who cares. We will ask that He will look after the two of you and provide all that is necessary. May Vicky get well soon, and may He provide you all with peace and healing.

    It's the acid rain I tell, shouldn't have left that baby laying there for so long. Get some baking soda, make a good slurry and throw it over the tire, wait til it quits foaming and then add the duct tape to cover up the mess. To re inflate, put propane torch into the tire and let it blow in there for about 5 minutes or so, no fire, stand back a little, then light it up and watch how cleanly a job is done.

    Marca may or may not come, depends on how tired she feels. Yesterday she went for a nap after supper, so it's hour by hour, I'm afraid.

    I would suggest it's either the red button,,, keep playing with it, or one of the 'step' buttons is stuck. Poke away at them, add some contact cleaner and see what happens. And NO, we're not going to be on Ch 9. That reminds me, mine don't work so good either,,, another thing to do on a rainy day.

    Obviously you haven't had to deal with the feanutant valve yet, for it can't operate without the assistance of the schneider valve, or the occurrence gate which is a direct relation to both and makes neither one codeficient.

    Are you sure about only having the contact board? I believe there are 2 pieces and one stays inside the switch when you pull it apart.
