  1. dear ron thanks for sharing this bad news. i can not add any more than what most of the other vr family members have already said. they were your friends, you will not forget them. what ever times ya'll shared will always be with you. but we have been promised that we will meet again someday. peace and love to you and their famileys. best reguards don c.
  2. i myself have never had this problem. but a couple of years ago i bought the "L-bracket" that lowers the driving lights so you can pull the faring off with out droping the driving lights. i am not sure abolt the bolt size. but i think i used blue locktight when i installed the bolts back in with the L-bracket. reguards don c.

  4. hi glenn welcome to the darkside and the vr site. keep us informed on your likes & dislikes of your c/t. my first c/t was a bfg 155 with a me880 130 on the front. i now how have a kumho 165 and a avon cobra 150 on the front. i got over 31,000 onthe bfg & hope to get as much out of the kumho. reguards don c.

  7. hi john just pulled the shorty windshield out of the box. looks great, no scratches, dings just needs a good cleaning/ polishing. let me know if you would like to look at it. reguards don c.
  8. hi john i have one of those shorty windshields you can have, if you make a donation to the site. i used it for a short time and didn't like it, to much wind buffing. got a tall & wide clearview w/vent on the schoot now. i need to go and pull it out of the box to check it. reguards don c.

  12. i have a clearview shield also. x-wide x-tall tinted and with vent. i have been very happy with fit and function of this shield. i would buy from clearview again. don c.

  19. hi dick i have had my '99 rsv for over 4 years now. 1 year with the m/c tires that were on it, when i bought it at 21,000 miles. 2 years with me880's front & rear. now with my 2'nd c/t tire on the rear. i now have almost 76,000 miles on the bike. i can report no issuses with any of the tires i've had on the bike. but i will add the c/t has givening me the most wear / milage for the low cost. best reguards don c.

  23. i belive the instructions on the back of the can/bottle says about 1oz per gallon of gas. but my first time using the stuff i pored the whole can in the tank. don c.
