yep it was on loutta, and they also carry the bg injuctor cleaner ( $11.00) made by bg to use to maintain your fuel systen after using the 44k. also i found out i get a discount at the napa corprate owned stores as i'am a contintal airline employee. (not all napa auto parts stores are corprate owned.) now have a new source for the 44k. but i still like the ride out to waller. don c.

hi dick glad the package finaly got there. you are 1 of the first to receive this " darksider" patch. i only had 2 but will be ordering more. i would sew it on. the valve caps are probley made of brass but gould be stainless, look inside to see i have never checked. but you can either repaint them to the color of your choice or strip the old paint off. then repaint them. hope all is going well in your neck of the woods. best reguards don c.

i'am going to add not all auto parts garry the 44k. i drove out to waller were a-1 parts is and picked up two cans of the stuff. all the local autoparts stores around me in a 20 miles radis, do not carry the stuff or have heard of it. a-1 in waller told me to go by their store closer to me ( they have 4 stores ) at huffmiser& spring-cypress. the guys there told me they have never carried the 44k at that location. that the waller store was the only one to order the stuff. and they would be happy to do a inter-store transfeer for me if i would give them a call a day ahead of when i needed it. well the drive out to waller is a better ride even though it's miles futher away from me. just a few of the stores that do not carry the stuff: auto zone o'relly pep boys napha advance auto parts there are thousands of auto parts stores around the houston area, and most of them are the national box stores. i have only gone to about 30 of them in my local area. i have also checked at the oldest auto parts store in my home town of huntsville, texas (60 miles from me). and they don't carry the 44k. so i buy a couple of cans when i can. don c.

i have used the 44k a couple of times on my bike. when we did the carb floats at tom's in blanco. the carb fuel bowls were real clean. as ponch said tom told me about this product. on national pubic radio (npr) there is a radio show called click & clack. it's two auto mechanics ( i think they are brothers )you can call in to their show and ask for auto mechanics info and they recommend the 44k products. especially the carb & injector products. how about a 44k run across the border? i could be timpted to buy a few cases to run across the border this spring. don c.

i would agree it's your trailer tounge weight. last year i took my trailer to the '08 international rally in kitchener. over 4,000 miles, had it loaded to the gunwalls with more stuff loaded on top. over 1/2 of this trip was two up. my tounge weight was around 30 plus pounds. pulled like a dream and this was at 70 to 75 mph. i can't remember but i think i put the max air pressure in the trailer tires, maybe 5psi less. i had a bfg 155 c/t on the rear. don c.

hi dick after tighting up the nuts on the valve stem & adding air. did you use the soap soluation and sprayed it all around the valve stem to check for any more leaks? would not think those's o-rings on the valve are bad. but if you have to take the wheel off to put it in a tub of water to check for a leak. as barend suggested might as well go and have the valve stem replaced. i am sorry your haveing so much trouble with this. will give you a call later this enving to find out more. reguards don c.
