  1. Busy day and stopped at Micky Ds on the way home Must have had a dozen idiots pull outin front of me and all the rush of the season I was about done. Micky Ds had line I had to wait in for about 15 min. Was getting close to register when this little piece of fluff struts in the door followed by her larger than me escourt ape walking behing her. Jeans and shirt she had on were straining to hold things in. Yeah I looked!! Boyfriend or whatever took a seat and sent her to order. She took a look at the line bounce to the front of it and stepped in front of me as I was starting to order. I said Excuse me young lady but the end of the line is back there. She sputtered a little and went and reported thing to her feller. He came stomping up and stood staring at me trying to figure out what to say. At lest I think he could talk. I gave him a smile and said carefull young man you don't get more than you order. He looked at me several seconds turned and collected her and must have decided to eat somewhere else. Girl behind register was cracking up. Everyone in line was grinning I think. And here I stood thinking ' Old man you are lucky you didn't get your butt handed to you..... Warden chewed on me all the way home!!!!

  3. Well we NYers dodged this one for now. But it won't be long before somehow or someway it passes. Seems there was a bill that was shot down for now that would have us paying to register our bicycles in order to traverse NY state highways. Gotta love this state our politicians are creative!:mo money:
  4. I just had to start a new check register. Its funny thats its still called a check register because between Nov 2009 and Dec 2010 I wrote 12 checks in 13 months. So, thats less than 1 a month. Most of the checks were for taxes of one form or another. But the local tax office now takes debit cards, so I suppose most of the checks I did write were really unnecessary. I fact, it appears that a check I wrote to The Ponderosa in Cody WY, which doesn't take cards and the 2 checks to buy my 2000MM RSV in April were the only checks I wrote that couldn't have been done electronically. The number of check registers I get when buying a box of checks doesn't last and I go to the bank once a year or so to get a new register, and cant remember the last time I actually bought my checks. Maybe 5 years ago when the bank changed ownership and its name and account numbers?

  10. well, we have every thing set for the 09 rally at the hub. t-shirt deadline is past, all planning is done, i'm sure by now everyone that is coming knows who they are. so we are not going to bug you any more. black owl told me at the beginning of the planning don't let the folks forget, and we definately did'nt let you forget. we worked hard on this one and i think it is going to be a winner. my committee did a great job, i picked some winners. now it's all over but the fun. and we are definately going to have alot of fun. you can still register in advance or when you arrive, or you don't have to register at all. no matter how you do it we are looking forward to meeting you all. we have one heck of a meet planned with lots of stuff going on, and some of the worlds best riding. this is a must do meet if you are a real biker. see you there. bill

  14. The newest occupant in my garage is an 86 lst Edition. She is really clean and when I rode it before making payment to the PO, she ran great without a miss whatsoever. Trailered it home and cleaned it up a bit and now she is poping like crazy. He said he had it only three weeks and the party he got it from supposedly had it in storage for 13 years. Had to go through it somewhat but I donot believe removing the carbs for a thorough cleaning was part of the de-moth balling. I am wondering if that isn't the problem. I havent had it long enough to ever register here in Texas. So as soon as I have it registered, I will fill the tank with some new fuel, add a can of Sea Foam and take her out for some fresh air. Wish me luck. Since everyone likes pics..... Masterguns

    more women

A friend sent this to me...thought I'd pass it along: _________________________________________ Just when you think you've heard it all, along comes something like this and you realize there's a whole different world out there... In an effort to attract more women to the Kansas City Jan. 12 & 13 bike show, the promoters have set up a drawing with the winner gettng a $6K boob job! http://bikernews.obworld.com/index.cfm?d=news&p=read&newsid=6406 KANSAS CITY, Mo. - -- There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but a motorcycle show is offering something you probably never thought you'd see for free. And you can see what we're talking about on billboards all over town. Cosmetic surgery to enhance a woman's breasts. Women can register to win a brand new pair if they register at the bike show. But is the idea tacky, funny or both? We asked women and the man behind the offer. There are 46 billboards around town advertising the upcoming bike show, but the eye catcher on the billboards is the offer to get a free breast augmentation. Need a double take? On Southwest Boulevard the billboard's are back-to-back. "I mean how would you like to go to a motorcycle show and see more girls than guys?" asked Ralphy Roades. Ralph Roades put up the billboards, hoping to increase his turnout. He figured a lot of women may want to look like the girls in his biker magazine. "If there's 12,000 people and 3,000 girls, you got a 3,000-to-1 odds to win a $6,000 breast augmentation," said Roades. "You're not going to get those odds at the boats or no place." "Yoo hoo, go women," said Gail Worth. Worth owns Gail's Harley Davidson and thinks the offer is as funny and it is clever. "Well that's what it's all about, it's all about trying to figure out something different, that everybody else hasn't already done," said Worth. "And Ralph's done it. He's figured out something that's never been done before." Just to reassure the women who register for the augmentation, the plastic surgeon herself will be at the bike show. She may not know much about the curves on a motorcycle, but on a woman's body, she'll answer any question. For passing drivers, the question was: "Would it get you to go to the bike show?" "No," one person said and laughed. "Do you think it'll get more women at the bike show?" "It could, it could, but not us personally." "Do you think it's tacky, funny? What do you make of it?" "Funny, I think it's funny." The bike show is Jan. 12 and 13 at the Three Trails Expo Center near the old Bannister Mall. And no guys, you can't register on behalf of your wife or girlfriend. Only women who go can register. Rob Low myfoxkc.com
  19. I am looking at buying a camper from someone in Janesville. Jerry (Boo) is going to be working with me to look at it and maybe more. Is it true that you dont need or have title for small trailers in Wisconsin? How do you register it without title? Could someone fill in the blanks for me please. There will be no relay needed.....lol...I plan on a roadtrip if this works out.
