. I did see them as well and did ride with with one, not sure about them being matched though, they were close, that's for sure, but putting them together may produce a whine that can be heard for miles.

Congrats to Hope, and thanks for the parents sacrifices to get her there, it's been quite a road. Hang around Charlie, we don't want to miss you just yet.

Well prayers are and have been on the way, for Bob as well as Becky. Now about Saturday,,, real good idea,,,, but have to plan that in. Just had my 'extra man' work for me this past Saturday, don't know how another Saturday, right now, will work out. We'll have to see.

Good to hear, now go and get some rest, you'll be needing it for her.

nah it wasn't any body's fault but the butcher who put it on in the first place, didn't check well enough that is was mounted right, thought it was, but didn't check. My dealer would have no problem covering if it was his fault, they're a real good bunch here.

Man oh man, now your making it real interesting. Will be discussed I'm sure.

Change out the ignition switch, it causes funny problems when it starts to go. Probably won't solve the horn issue, but might be related to the starting problem.

Thanks for the offer, I have now thought to post pictures, thought maybe that would be handie. If it's not the right color don't worry about it. I can repaint this one anyways, it's only lost it's paint more or less. I actually would like the same color to save the painting experince if you know what I mean. Thanks again. And yes, my plan is to be at Don's. Carl

Guess everyone has their day, so mine was today. Was on my way to the dealers to arrange for new skins, that was after new Avons yesterday. So it was, that somehow, somewhere, somebody misattached the saddle bag to the side of the scoot and off she came at 120, that about the speed that floppy happens with the Avons, so now it's Elete II for a try. Tried for Elite III but they don't seem to be available so that's it, new tyres and now we need a new saddle bag, right side , outside only, brown. Any one have one to sell, I'd be interested. Carl

Tough one for you both, you're right in your assessement I think and it's going to be up and down. I will again ask the Holy One for intervention.

Take the seat off and right there on top of the tank is the access to all that is in the tank. Loosen that cover plate and you're in, or rather everything comes out. Maybe a good time suck the crud out of the bottom as well.

Well we normally take one along, just in case you know. What's the hold Uncle Ed, need some help over there??????????? As it stands right now, we are leaving Caledonia, Wayne's place about 4 to arrive in Fort Erie about 6 and bed down in Erie PA about 8 pm. This depends yet on when everybody gets off work and how supper goes, but at least we got it started. Got reservations at Oberlin Inn for 90 bucks for the night and it has two double beds, I guess Wizard is sleeping in one and me in the other, just don't have any idea what all the extra room is for, could easily sleep four in two doubles you'd think, or maybe they're smaller in the states. Hope we're not wasting any space or we might have to find some way to use it up, 'you know going green and all'.

Hey congrats.!.!.!.!.!.! At least she gets to experience it in proper style.

Now if someone were to take that chrome 'basket affair' off the back and add some real good chrome, it might sell better. But it will be a SLOW seller, it's blue

Bike dies while running
Marcarl replied to Tupperj's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Sounds like something electrical, could be a joint, or maybe a primary wire to the coil. Could also be the coil or coils, I don't know much about a MKII, does it have one coil or a coil for each cylinder? -
Final Drive/Drive shaft help...

If it's a spline there will be movement, where there is movement there should be grease or oil or something. -
Final Drive/Drive shaft help...
Marcarl replied to jrcain32's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
The way I did mine was super easy: put the transmission in neutral, take a look down the tube to see where the U-joint is, and poke the drive shaft at it, once it kind of connects turn the U-joint with the end of the drive shaft as you give it a slight push. Somewhere, before you get to one full turn the whole works will slide together. The splines mentioned here are the final drive and do need to be greased with a super sticky grease or everything will fly off and wear will happen.
